When we arrived by train we were quite early for check in but the owner told us we could leave our bags and that they would try to get us checked in asap because we were at a loose end which was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice aswell. As I am a vegetarian they even catered for that at breakfast. On a whole would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Enjoyed the hotel, great location, Room was excellent, en suite with lots of space, bar meals very good and the hotel staff enthusiastic and committed. Will stay egain.

Lovely location, but any hotel in the town would have the same locationas the town is the attraction, not the hotel.

Clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. Julian the owner was veryfriendly, helpful and accommodating . It's a short journey from themiddle of Aberystwyth, but in a very quiet location - I slept with thewindow open on a Friday and Saturday night, something you mostdefinitely can't do in the middle of a town with 8000 students! Thewhole experience was very welcoming, with a nice lounge, books to read,tasty breakfast cooked to order, and a genuine effort to please, ratherthan the "can't be bothered" attitude you find in some places. Wouldstay again, and have already recommended to friends!

The accommodation was lovely, our group stayed in two different rooms - the one on the ground floor was beautifully appointed and had a large section of sunroof with a view to the trees and sky outside. The other room was on the first floor, gorgeous decoration and really 'homey'. We chose to have dinner made by Julian, which was exceptional - great food and such a warm and lovely welcome by Julian. Breakfast was also lovely and the little touches like coffee plungers and delicious coffee in the rooms added to the whole experience. I would highly recommend it!

Excellent value for money. Lovely accommodation, very clean and nicely decorated. We had a great welcome from Julian and the breakfast was delicious! Provision of tea and coffee making facitilies in the room was appreciated and it was good to have a choice of herbal teas too. Attention to detail was very good, I was expecting something more basic for the price so was really impressed.
