The Pheasant is in a stunning location overlooking the beautiful Cheshire countryside and is a very beautiful and quaint Inn. We had a warm and friendly welcome. We spent a relaxing afternoon in the bar catching up on mail. There were people outside enjoying the sun and the views, just a great atmosphere. And there were pheasants in the field opposite to the hotel. Staff were there to provide what ever we wanted. Our room was good with lots of space, comfortable bed and good shower. Good breakfast. Staff very helpful.

Cosy and friendly, lovely fires and great food. We had a courtyard roomand whilst the bathroom was small it was very clean and well equippedwith nice products. The overall feel is of quality with low keyattentive service. Our meal was lovely, wine list extensive. I came awayfeeling as though we had got a very good deal for the price we paid andwe will certainly be booking there again.

Only in town for one night for daughters graduation but no complaintswhatsoever. A decent buffet breakfast and free early evening bar alongwith a comfortable room on the front of the hotel with little or notraffic noise. Free parking at the hotel and a taxi tothe city centre will cost cL5. So for L79 a very good deal and will staythere again.

Good value hotel 5 minutes from Liverpool city centre. Probably better value when Liverpool are not playing and porbably even better value again when Liverpool are not playing Manu U.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, brilliant location and excellent value for money. We were visiting the Gormley Iron Man sculptures at Crosby, seeing Anthony and Cleopatra at the Playhouse and going racing at Aintree and the hotel provided a great base. Liverpool is certainly a buzzing city.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Throstle Nest Hotel. The hotel is very clean (sheets and towels smelt lovely and fresh), breakfast extremely tasty (with excelent choices) and dining room smartly decorated and very clean. If I go back to Liverpool I would definitely choose this hotel to stay. It was an absolute bargain and would choose it over any chain hotel.

Excellent location - very close to a range of bars and clubs. The hotel is ideal for friends travelling together - there is live music which can be noisy, but no problem if you are partying until late :) The room was great - nice and spacious with a brilliantly stocked mini-bar. Staff were friendly and helpful - all in all would definitely recommend this hotel and will be going back!.

The hotel itself is a Best Western but the Kings is clearly an"executive rooms" section. Our son’s room was normal twin withbath and over bath shower. This hotel was certainly very convenient forstation as it is right opposite. It is a good walk into the centre ofChester - at least half a mile but a nice walk along the canal - if theweather is nice!.

The apartment was beautiful, they accommodated for everything. The viewswere spectacular and was over looking the Liverpool Docks, there were afew teething problems, due to construction on the building it was hardto find the door into the apartment building, there was no one to greetus to let us in and we had to ring the number on our booking form to getsomeone to let us in. It would be better if they had someone on dutydown stairs to help with letting people in and general administration ofthe bookings. We were taken to our apartment by a young chap who wasvery knowledgeable and showed us ho.

We loved liverpool but the appartments were a building site, thebathrooms were mouldy and both showers were broken!!!! There was a fanin the bedroom that was so full of dust that we moved it to the hall,every surface was dusty and the toaster had crumbs from the last 5months. The code machinewas hanging off the wall at the entrance and would not open the door sowe had to wait for someone from Mal Maison hotel to come and open up forus and it was freezing.
