There was a lovely friendly atmosphere around the hotel from the minute we arrived untill the moment we left. Well situated just about 6 miles from Stranraer and Port Patrick, enough to take you away from the hussle and bussle. The best for me had to be the superb food. May not be gourmet I grant you BUT if it’s great value for money, tasty, good portioned food your after you will find Torrs Warren hard to beat! Had lunch and breakfast at the hotel and as I’m someone who enjoy’s their grub I didn’t leave hu.

Great reviews on the booking system websites etc. and is probably one ofthe best if not the best b&b in Stranraer. Stayed just one night at thehotel due to a business trip and the location was ideal. Found the hotel very easily (via Sat-Nav)and I had no problem with the location and not a problem going out forthe eventing for something to eat.
Kevin  — 7.7.2010.
The owner/operators were extremely nice and very helpful as well - they took the time to ask us about our trip and how we were doing and a pleasant conversation developed. When my wife and I arrived we were given a tour and shown the parking lot in the rear of the home - it was nice to have a secure spot to park off-street as that meant we didn’t have to unload everything from the car and carry to our rooms as we did with other hotels on our trip with street parking. 5 min walk to town center for food + shopping.
Peter  — 9.7.2011.
We had a one night stop over ahead of catching the Ferry to Ireland. Proprietor’s provided a warm welcome as well as a very clean andcomfortable room. Breakfast was good quality and overall this b&bprovides good value for money.

The B & B is on the outskirts of Stranraer town set back from the main road which overlooks the approach to the Ferry Terminal. My husband and I received a warm welcome from the owner and our comfortable room was immaculate in its modern decor, cleanliness and little touches of toiletries, tea, coffee and biscuits. There was even a small decanter of sherry and 2 chocolates! Breakfast is served at a large table in the dining room and there was a choice of everything you could want. We had cereal with fruit followed by poached egg (from their own hens) bacon and tomato which was delicious. We would go back if in that area again.
David  — 11.12.2011.
This bed and breakfast is a haven of tranquility and comfort. I was given a most warm welcome and made to feel at home right away. The food was excellent. Pat (owner of B&B) has a detailed knowledge of the area including all of the local services and facilities. I felt very much refreshed and re-vitalised from my stay at this gem of a B&B. I would highly recommend Balyett, where a warm and friendly welcome will await you. David from Cheshire

Everything is fabulous. The owner (Pat) is fantastic and veryaccommodating, the building and facilities are great, the room very wellequipped and the breakfast superb. The b&b property is on a farm betweenStranraer and Cairnryan on the Cairnryan Road, so its a little out oftown and therefore beautiful and quiet.
