This is my first solo trip without my husband, but thestaff were all so helpful, and understanding. Will certainly stay thereagain if in Stirling area.

Comfortable bed and crisp white sheets and towels. Hotel tariff and evening menu tariff very good value. Plentiful food at breakfast buffet. View outside our room looked over pleasant parkland and the hotel was conveniently located next door to the King Robert Heritage Centre.

The hotel was very conveniently located at the gateway to the highlands and for a visit to the historic town of Stirling. It stands immediately adjacent to the Bannockburn Visitor Centre.

Its position in stirling is perfect for the shops and the major attractions , the staff are friendly and helpfull , the hotel is clean and very nice to spend time in and the food and service were excellent , the only thing i could fault would be the directions to the car park but that may be more my sense of direction than any fault of the hotel.

Hotel room was lovely but hotel lobby, bar area and corridors were very tired and worn looking and in need of painting/upgrading. Had lunch in the hotel - it was poor. People had to wait for bacon and eggs etc. as they ran out.

The hotel is in the heart of Stirling. It is clean and very comfortable. Nonoise in the morning and an excellent breakfast, compared with otherhotels in scotland because it has more variety.

The room was amazing. It looked onto the old town of Stirling and beyond to the Ochil Hills. The room was well appointed and very well light, something unsual for hotel rooms! The bed was very comfortable and would absolutely recoment the hotel to anyone. The tarriff that night was L51 for B&B. Trust me you don’t need too! I am fussy about the rooms being clean and smelly hotel rooms! I didn’t have to worry about either.

The hotel is a old school building which adds an additional charm to thehotel. The free car park inside the hotel was very convenient. Thelocation was very good to explore the city centre and the Stirlingcastle (anyway, the city is very small, it is possible to explore iteasily by walking). There is an old telescope on the top of thebuilding, which can be visited with a hotel staff member.

Excellent position in the city centre just down Stirling castle. Very good leisure centre you can enjoy for free. There was a hen party the night I stayed at this hotel, but any noise disturbed my sleep. Highly recommended hotel, really!.

First of all it was not a hotel, it was a B&B, and a poor one at that. We where just getting off to sleep(on a very uncomfortable bed) when someone sheezed,it was as if they where in the room with us. The towels where like sandpaper. The room was nothing like what I seen on the booking,it was all a mismatch of furniture, and the carpet was like something my granny would have in our living room.
George  — 19.2.2011.
Although categorised in Booking, com as a hotel it really is a b+b in acountry setting. However when you read the information supplied by theweb page it is apparent it is a b+b and not a hotel. We were looking fora b+b and that is what we got. We were only looking for a one night stayin a quiet country environment close to Doune and Stirling and it metour requirements.
Bruce  — 17.2.2011.
Only accommodation that catered for family. He was able totell us about the history and the best places to see. It was out ofStirling city and we loved what we called a "Farm Stay". It waspeaceful and relaxing.
