I was attending a weekend "training" course nearby and needed overnightaccommodation - this was not just "accommodation" it was a warm andfriendly hotel. I was having to leave within half-hour of breakfast andI asked the evening before if I could have a really speedy full Englishthe next morning but promptly and they bent over backward to accommodateme. Excellent - and it was a pity this was just an overnight stay as itwas the ideal place to chill out. The food - tremendous. A 6 star hotel.

The hotel staff were fantastic, really helpful and accommodating, I contacted the hotel in advance requesting rooms next to each other as I was travelling with a group of friends (I’ve done this many times before in different hotels and my request has been ignored) We were given rooms next to each other that shared a balcony and private staircase, which was absolutely perfect for me and my group of friends. The rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy, the beds were very comfortable and breakfast was great. Excellent value for money. I’d definately recommend this hotel.
Christine  — 27.3.2011.
I liked the relaxed and friendly ambience of the hotel. It was also veryclean, and the staff were very accommodating. I read a review before Iwent where someone said that the hotel was like a "Jewel", and I quiteagree! I was on the fourth floor and had a wonderful view of the bay, even lying down! The breakfasts and evening meal were exceptionally goodand I would definitely recommend this hotel.

There is a car park at the hotel which is convenient, extra charge of L15 per night. The hotel needs re-decorating but the room was ok.

We stayed at the Princes Marine Hotel for one night to use it as a base to see the shops and sights of Brighton. We had the continental breakfast which again was as expected. The waiter that served us was very professional and efficient. One big appeal to this hotel, and also one of the main reasons we chose it, was due to its rear carpark as we didn’t want to use our ca.

Good value and clean, with free parking, free wifi and a very comfortable bed. I was offered an upgrade to the room I’d booked and the room was really quite spacious with a newish carpet and excellent bedding, a proper size bath with good water pressure and a fantastic sea view. Breakfast buffet was quite varied, hotel bar not bad. Bottom line - it’s a 3 star hotel, not luxurious, not central, but good value with all the basics in place.
Julie  — 27.7.2010.
The staff were excellent - friendly, efficient and helpful. The hotel isabout 2 miles from Brighton itself, in Hove, and the walk along theseafront into Brighton itself was lovely - there are apparently regularbuses but we went on a Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, so didn’t seemany - but didn’t really need them. We’d not been to the area before, and it is a great place for a weekend trip away - you can chooseromantic dinners and peace and quiet, or there’s plenty of things to doif you’re wanting to keep busy.

Nicky  — 2.12.2010.
The hotel was very comfortable, and although (as in a previous guest’s comments) the room was far from the reception area, and the lifts out of order, there was no real problem getting in or out. The room was really large and the bathroom too. The management was really accommodating, as they willingly offset our breakfast cost against one night’s accommodation paid for, but not used. The parking is a great bonus, especially as there is quite a problem parking in Brighton.
Joanna  — 18.5.2011.
The hotel itself is a decent hotel, however we booked 3 double rooms and my mum and dad ended up in twin beds and they had no room to swap them to! The other room had no lights in the bathroom and the floor was soaking wet where it had a leak! The hotel staff had no handyman so came up and used our bathroom towels to mop it up.
Simon  — 12.5.2010.
This is a quirky hotel about 1 mile from The Lanes in Brighton, which was ideal. The hotel has parking, which was a big plus as parking can be expensive. We didn’t eat at the hotel, as we went into Brighton for breakfast etc.

From the minute we stepped into the hotel we were made to feel welcome. Our room was on the front of the hotel and we had a view of the sea and part of the pier to the left. 30am during the week. We replied we might give it a miss.
Paul  — 28.9.2010.
The hotel is situated near the beach and the Brighton amusement park. The hotel is running by a young andenthusiastic couple were you feel really welcomed. The breakfast was thebest of all B&B’s so far. At all I can really recommend this accommodation it’sreally worth it.

Lovely light and airy room. Hotel in excellent location close to all amenities. Ideal for shopping or beach holiday. This was the best hotel we’ve stayed in when visiting Brighton, we’d definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Lots to like if you don’t mind budget. Hotel was cheap for Brighton with shower in the room, though we had to share a toilet. All in all a very good budget hotel. I would go again and recommend to anyone on a budget.
Claire  — 10.2.2011.
The main hall ways of the hotel is very grandly decorated and has a very impressive entrance. The rooms were spacious but I would only recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay after a night out drinking as despite the romantic hall ways the rooms reflected a more budget appearance.
Christine  — 24.10.2010.
The hotel is very close to the centre and the biggest advantage under the crescent is a car park where you can park your rental car without problems.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Due to problems on the trains I arrived very late and I was telephoned by the hotel to make sure everything was OK. Breakfast was great, bing a vegetarian it was a nice surprise to be offered veggi sausages and soya milk. I would recommend this hotel and will definately stay again.
Willem  — 16.5.2010.
Very friendly hotel in an excellent location near the Brighton shopping areas The Lanes, North Laine and Churchill Square. No noise from outside or from other rooms. There were a few hen and stagparty groups staying at the hotel but they were kept well away from ’normal’ travelers. Breakfast was good.
Julie  — 10.9.2010.
Excellent location with adequate (if not expensive) parking close by. The bonus of 25% discount offered by the hotel is a bonus. Disabled parking on the side road near to the hotel is excellent. No time limit and space available whenever we returned to the hotel.
