Due to the hotel being relatively small, this meant the service providedwas extremely personal and friendly. Lovely staff, comfortable room,well equiped, the most beautiful countryside surrounding the hotel andinteresting and well kept gardens.

Great location between Polzeath and Port Isaac on the north coast. Wonderful food with settings for dinner lovely with spectacular views. Hotel communal rooms inviting and 2 acres of gardens very unusual. Good parking facilities and quiet rooms.

Stayed for two nights in a superior double room which was a very good. The breakfast was excellent and a good location for Port Isaac andRock etc. The staff were very good and I would recommend this Hoteland stay again.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpfull, the food wasextremely good especially the Thai menu, breakfast was one of the bestI have had in a B&B or even in many of the so called top classhotels I have stayed in. John the owner and his wife Felicity, and allthe staff, made us feel more than welcome, and I would definitely stayhere again, and also recommend the Cornish Arms to anyone who wants tovisit the area.

It was close to Port Isaac, although you would need a car to get there. We liked the old, quaint pub aspect of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and relaxed. There was plenty of room in the car park.

The room was spacious and clean It was very expensive for the location and the hotel. The hotel was placed close to port Isaac and served good food in the evening.

Dave and Kim who run Holmwood Guest House were very friendly and accomadating. The location was great as it was on away from the party bit of town, yet still in a comfortable walking distance for girls in heels. It was also well situated in terms of nice beaches to visit. It is deffinitely a family B&B, and Dave was able to advise us on where to go.

We were looking for a hotel with a central location within the town. Thishotel was ideal, with the bonus of a sea view from the front and bararea. Car remained inthe hotel car park except for a day trip elsewhere. The hotel staff werevery friendly, welcoming, and professional. The hotel provided a selection of optionsfor breakfast which would cater for most requirements.

Staff were very friendly, considerate, helpfull and obliging and thecost of the room was reasonable. Breakfast was served swiftly and thesize was sufficient with a good selection (in spite of some guestssaying it was too small???). We did not have evening meals. The hotelis fairly close to the town and beach (but bit of a climb if one is nottoo able).

This hotel is a 2 minute walk into town and 5 minutes to the beach. The staff were all very friendly and went out of there way to help in any way they could. Nothing was to much trouble.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cotehele Lodge, staff were friendly and on hand to help if needed. The room was lovelly and everything was ready for us on arrival. Good location near to everything going on in newquay. We also had breakfast delivered to the room which was good value for money and i would recommend it!.

The room (executive suite) was very visually appealing. Friendly environment and excellent location. Situated in the middle of all the main attractions in newquay therefore everything wad within walking distance. Also the novelty of having the breakfast brought to your room was very nice.

Really helpful, excellent, friendly staff. The hotel was ideal for my stay, a weekend away learning to surf in nearby Watergate Bay. It was so ideal for my own needs that I’ve booked again to go back in mid August. If you’re on a budget and not looking to stay in your hotel room for the duration of your stay, this hotel is ideal.

The hotel itself was very very good value. The only disappointmentwas no free towels, and coffee in the room, the 30 per person deposit onarrival was a surprise, never heard of that before, to unaware peoplestaying that could very easily eat into spending money, I understandit’s aimed at groups staying to protect the hotel from any broken itemsand to cover them for any losses. But 99% happy with the hotel andwill return again.

The welcome was very warm and we felt that nothing would be too much trouble; just ask if there was anything etc etc. The location particularly for Newquay which has parking problems in the Town was very good, with just outside the door street parking, virtually the only traffic in the area being the other hotels’ guests. It is located on the sea front and even if one’s room is on the back of the hotel, there are excellent walking possibilities right from the hotel, and seating in the front garden to admire the view or just chill. The area is very quiet at night unlike the main part of Newqua.

The Tregella Hotel is very well located with a stunning view of the seaand close to all amenities but, what we liked the most was the friendlyatmosphere and excelente reception, the owners are adorable!! ThanksChris and Alan for making our holiday very enjoyable. July/2011.
