Good quality accommodation for price. After reading previous reviews was a bit worried but happy with accommodation and cleanliness. Very handy for the town centre and harbour. One member of staff we met was very helpful and bubbly - very chatty at breakfast.

The location was excellent and enabled you to walk to all local facilities. The room was very clean and comfortable and compared very favourably with many more expensive hotels. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and went out of the way to assist guests.

Have previously stayed at this hotel and it maintains very good standards and value for money. Food and accomodation very good. Most definitely will return.

It was comfortable but expensive for what it was. The restaurant was good albeit over-priced!. The head waiter was very knowledgable and enthusiastic about local produce.

Staff was excellent, friendly and very eager to please, so no fault there. Our room was small, tired and in need of an upgrade; nowhere in the hotel was very warm. All in all it was rather expensive for what was on offer at L118. 00 for the room per night.

This tiny hotel (it’s more than a b&b) offers every facility that youmight want during a stay. Nothing has been left out - there’s a mini-gym, a guest laundry, guest computer room/library, maps, binoculars areavailable on loan, the rooms contain every comfort. An excellent dinneris served several times a week, and this is served in the hotel’s diningroom / sitting room with outstanding views over the wide sandy bay witha family of seals to watch on some rocks out to sea and a host of otherwild life - mainly of the feathered variety. It’s close to Stornoway andthe main tourist attractions on Le.
Angus  — 15.5.2010.
This small purpose built luxury hotel was perfect in every respect. Ian the owner has done a fantastic job and is on hand to make your stay truly memorable, including the brilliant food. The views from the hotel are simply stunning, on clear day which we had, the mainland is clearly visible 60 miles away ! Do not think of going anywhere else if you’re on Lewis.
Thomas  — 20.8.2010.
