I stayed just one night at the Hatton Court, whilst on business. The Hotel is located in beautiful location, and the grounds are superb. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. During the evening I had a drink in the Hotel bar and a meal from the Bar Menu.

Good size room at an amazing rate through booking. com (cheaper than the nearest Travelodge) with free wi-fi. Hotel is in a quiet spot with good views over Gloucester and a country-house hotel kind of feel.

The staff were excellent---very helpful--even Googling maps for ourroute -- and asking on our return if we had found what we wanted. TheBumble Bee pub next door was good and easy to get to as no hot food wasavailable at hotel apart from ordering in takeaways --breakfast was goodwith self service--but don’t expect a full breakfast--scrambled egg andsausages --but plenty of choice for cereals-fruit -toast etc etc. Willuse this hotel again.

This was an overnight stop while travelling from the Lakes District toCornwall. Hence a clean well located hotel relatively near the motorwaywas a priority. Finding the hotel was easy and and the parking was good. We have stayed in a number of Holiday Inn Express hotels when visitingEngland and whilst not the most luxurious we know what to expect in theway of location, cleanliness, parking, facilities etc.
Anonymous  — 11.10.2010.
I was expecting this hotel, because of the price paid, to be only slightly better than another well known cheap room provider but with breakfast included. However cleanliness/decor/beds in the Holiday Inn Express were much superior to the other. The walk-in shower was a bonus and the single beds were a much better 3’6" which was great and we both had a comfortable night’s sleep.

The New Inn hotel was very unusual and had a lot of character. Its was also in the centre of everything,so was very convenient for all the sights as well as the shops. The food in the restaurant was very good, and the breakfast was excellant, In the courtyard was plenty of seating if you wanted to sit outside to enjoy a drink. Don,t think it would suit young children as you had to go up stairs on the outside the the hotel to the bedrooms We enjoyed our visit very much.

The hotel was conveniently located for an overnight stay in the centreof Gloucester. The foodwas what you would expect from a city centre pub menu. The room itselfcould have been cleaner. I got the feeling that the hotel may haverecently changed hands and that the new owners have plans to bring itupu to the same standard as others in the group.
Jane  — 26.12.2010.
We were looking for a B and B to stay in while attending an Arts festival in cheltenham. We were booking late, and pleased to find the Station hotel in Gloucester available. we were able to come back late into the night. And we had a cooked breakfast.

The Guest House is situated in a lovely rural setting, with largegrounds. Very easy access into nearby Tewkesbury. We booked thisaccommodation as a half way stop coming back from our holiday inCornwall, so only stayed the one night. Our room was to a very highstandard with quality fittings. It was nice to be able sit out on alawned area with table and chairs with a lovely pond. Fantastic homecooked breakfast using eggs from the owners own chickens. Wouldn'thesitate to stop here again.

The owners of Mulberry House, Keith and Jean Burrows, are passionate about good service, and Gloucester has been their family home for nearly thirty years, so undoubtedly, should you need any information on what to do during your trip - be it recommendations for unmissable destinations within the city centre, day trips out, or where to go to eat in the evening - we have the passion and enthusiasm to give you a good list of options! Gloucester, the ancient capital of the beautiful county of Gloucestershire, is a popular cathedral city that also boasts England’s most inland harbour. For instance, the House of the Tailor of Gloucester, is the actual shop that Beatrix Potter drew when illustrating her famous story “The Tailor of Gloucester”, and there are two fine museums which tell the story of this extraordinary city which was founded nearly 2000 years ago by the Romans.
