The Beiderbeckes is a very comfortable hotel with spacious rooms a high level of cleanliness and friendly helpful staff. This hotel is right in the middle of the town centre & just a short stroll to the lift that takes you down to the beach & harbour area. We only stayed here one night but would definately stay here again if we were in the area. Tip; parking in the area is tight but the hotel was extremely helpful at getting us into their car park, so ask before you pay for on street parking.

My wife and I live in Ireland and we travel to Scarborough a few times a year, we have stayed in a fair few of the hotels and B/B’s in Scarborough. is great and the food was excellent. It is a shame to see a resturant in a hotel that does great food empty they should put on offers to attract the public. We will stay there again the next time we visit Scarborough.

I was pleased to be given a very large room with king size bed even though I was charged for a single room. The hotel was extremely clean throughout and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant service was excellent. The hotel is in a perfect location for the shops and not too far from the beach.

The hotel staff were cheerful and friendly. I am so gald thatwe weren’t put off by some of the negative comments that we read aboutthe hotel. It was in need of decoration but it was excellent value formoney and we would rather have 2 nights here than 1 at a more expensivehotel. We will definitely return if we get the chance.

Breakfast, Had a problem parking near hotel in the designated zone due to it been a bank holiday, i told the staff on duty and he allowed me to park on the hotel forecourt that was the way to sort my problem, topman ! On the plus side you will struggle to get a better view of the east coast than sat on the top of the cliffe that this hotel is situated on.

The hotel staff were helpful and the hotel was in pretty good shape. Thesigns of refurbishment in the rooms are obvios and although there weresome minor niggles on the whole it was very good. It is obviously a2star hotel but is was pretty good value for money especially whencompared with the other options.

F ound the hotel very comfortable, room had been recently decorated andthe decor was very nice. The bathroom could do with some updating astiles were coming away from the wall but all in all had a very pleasantstay. My parents will be visiting in September with cloud nine holidaysso hope they have as an enjoyable stay. One last thing the breakfasts aregreat, eat all you want cereals, fresh fruit, full english andtea,coffee and toast, who could want more.

Very nice hotel, we had sea view room which although a little small was very well appointed and was more than made up for by the view. Staff very friendly and hotel was very clean and comfortable. 95 and coffee extra was very good indeed. This was our first visit to Scarborough and we would certainly go back to the Ambassador.

The Hotel was in a good position, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was good, however they staff need to check the trays more regularly as it kept running out. and on Saturday and Monday the entertainment in the evening was good we enjoyed our stay very much and will return here again if we come back to Scarborough.
