I was very impressed throughout my stay at the Castle Hotel. The Hotel Staff were friendly, helpful, effecient and carried out all their various jobs showing care and attention without being too fussy. The hotel in all areas was one of the cleanest I have stayed in and the food was of an exceptional standard. It is a hotel I have promised myself for several years that I would stay in and I am very glad that I finally have.

We stayed at the Castle Hotel for one night at the end of our holiday before getting the ferry back to Ireland from Holyhead. We were very pleased we picked this hotel. The staff were very helpful and the food was gorgeous. Conwy is a beautiful town and we will definitely try to come back to have a longer stay.

A lovely hotel ~ recently redone with a lot of care and enthusiasm. Decor works well & is in keeping with the old-style of the hotel, rooms are excellent, and food is very good. A nice buzz to the hotel and friendly and helpful staff. Conwy itself is a little gem of a town.

We stayed at the Quay Hotel for 2 nights to celebrate our Pearl Anniversary as we had originally honeymooned in Conwy 30 years ago. The staff at the hotel were professional and welcoming as soon as we arrived. The room was excellent, clean, well-equipped and with the most beautiful view over the estuary. The breakfasts were great and cooked to order with the restaurant staff being very attentive. We didn't use the actual spa facilities but the pool, steam room and sauna were very good. All in all we had a great stay, the weather, views and hotel combined to make a fantastic and relaxing break.

Our stay at the Quay (pronounced key) was quite excellent. Thefacilities were tops and the location is both scenic and convienient forexploring all of North West Wales. Everything from the Conwy Castle thatsits across the water from the hotel to the Great Orme trolley and 3000year old copper mines to explore. All along with the hospitality of theWelsh people and culture. A grand time... Wish I had longer.
Carl  — 12.1.2012.
Everything at this hotel is exceptional, from check in the staff are helpful, explain everything and talk to you like a normal person. The hotel and rooms are imaculate in every way, i would definately recommend a suite as they really are worth the extra money. To sum it up the hotel is in an excellent position and has views which are stunning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

My first impression was that the main building was slightly dated. Once through the doors there wasthe friendliest welcome I have ever experienced in a hotel. Sheer bliss. Once refreshed we all met in the lou.
Pauline  — 21.4.2011.
The owner is a "hands on" hotelier which is usually good for customers. The hotel is situated with many interestinghistorical areas within just a few miles eg. Conwy castle and Snowdonianational park. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and tidy, the foodwas very good, nothing was too much trouble.
Keith  — 20.6.2010.
The staff were very welcoming and polite. There is plenty of parking at the hotel which is a bonus as it can be hard to find parking in the local area. The hotel is well placed for visiting places of interest in the North Wales area. We will definitely visit The Lodge Hotel again.

I chose the hotel as I was bringing my dog with me, and I was so happywith the warm welcome from the owners, for both him and me! They wentout of their way to look after me, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent, too, served in a very nice dining room. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, in particular to the single female traveller, as well as couples and families. Thanks for a great stay.
James  — 12.2.2010.
The Broadway is brilliantly located right by the main street inLlandudno and is the perfect place whether you wish to visit the TheatreThe Pier and Orme or just the beach. The rooms are very well appointed and the bed was verycomfortable, one of the best nights’ sleep in a hotel I’ve had in a longtime. The breakfast? Fabulous, and plenty of it too! Breakfast is up tp09:30 which is far more flexible than many other hotels in the area. Sheryl was an excellent hostess and we shall very definitely bereturning again and again.

Tir y Coed is situated a short walk from the small village of Rowen. (They all have a get together on a friday evening for a sing song as many belong to various Welsh choirs) Being in the county of Conwy it is ideally situated to visit the wonderful welsh coast, the island of Anglessy, Snowdon and many popular attractions in the Snowdon area. One of the best things about the house is the relaxed and informal atmosphere created by the owners Ian and Alan. They have a great eye for detail with many interestin.
Anonymous  — 28.6.2010.
Hosts Alan and Ian from the start were extremely friendly and welcoming. Had our dinner in the hotel two nights of our stay and the food wasdelicious, as was the breakfast. Unusual complimentary bath products. Location very quiet and peaceful, but also well situated to get tonearby visitor attractions such as Bodnant Gardens and Portmierion.

William  — 5.1.2012.
Efficiently run hotel/ inn with young friendly staff. The room we booked was a twin but on arrival we where upgraded to a double at no extra cost. I believe if we had stayed in the room originally booked we would not have enjoyed our stay as much.I would certainly return but would specify the room we wanted. (hind site is great). The food was excellent albeit a little pricey compared to similar food available in England, however they compared favorably to restaurants in other parts of Wales. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Gladstone to family and friends.
Geoffrey  — 24.11.2011.
Having stayed at the Gladstone on previous occasions, we find that itnever varies, this is a family owned hotel, and the service, and foodare second to none, we would have no hesitation whatsoever to reccommendthe Gladstone to anyone wanting a lovely place to stay, also the viewsfrom the front of the hotel are spectacular

Main road and rail routes are close by but there isno particular noise disturbance when inside the building. Excellent foodis available in the evenings.

The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was excellent. Although the hotelwas fully booked, and we had a ground floor room facing onto the carpark, there was very little noise. The Hotel was fairlyrelaxed and the staff helpful but unobtrusive. The food in therestaurant was tasty, hot and well presented.
Alison  — 26.7.2011.
Small, set in beautiful Welsh countryside. Our room had West facing balcony and we sat soaking up the late afternoon/ early evening sun before heading to eat in the hotel bar/restaurant. We stayed here for 2 nights as we were attending a family wedding nearby. The Groes Inn is not cheap but well worth it.
Anonymous  — 4.5.2011.
Very pleasing. g. flask of fresh milk in bedroom (rather than the awful small pots of artificial stuff). Inn rather than hotel so less stuffy.
