I liked everything about my stay. The hotel facilities were excellent. All of the staff were extremely pleasant at the hotel. I have never stayed at an hotel in England or abroad (I travel extensively) where the staff without exception were so friendly and efficient. Even when I was not particularly requesting anything I was acknowledged everywhere I went in the hotel with a smile and was asked several times if I was enjoying.
Anonymous  — 27.10.2010.
Ideally situated for all that Chester has to offer. All of the staff atthe hotel, with out exception were friendly and helpfull. Contrary to reading other commentson your site we found the hotel car park easy to find and plenty of carparking space. We would definitely stay at this hotel if we visitedChester again.

Everything about the Hotel was good, we stay in a number of differentHotels with work and leisure and this hotel provided value for money, especially the Hotel bar, so many Hotels rip you off with their barprices, however this was reasonable.

Mill Hotel & Spa was recommended to us and lived up to expectations inevery respect with the exception that for the same price our friends hada larger room. Our stay in Chester was very memorable which was in a very largepart due to the quality of the hotel. The staff, particularly Jane onReception, were just amazing. We have stayed in numerous hotels up anddown the country, Mill Hotel and Spa definitely stands out.
Laura  — 25.3.2010.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Mill Hotel, the staff were lovely, thehotel was easy to find and parking was not a problem. The hotel wasclose to the city centre (around 5-10min walk) and was in a lovelylocation next to the canal. The hotel had all the required facilitiesand we could find no fault, it was a bit busy in the morning going forbreakfast, however, given the size of the hotel, it is to be expected. We would go back if we were to visit Chester again in the future!.
Margaret  — 23.2.2011.
The hotel was very near the centre of Chester so you could eat in the local restaurants without taking the car. Having said that the hotel’s restaurant was excelent and reasonably priced. Parking outside the hotel was a bit tight but the enclosed compound across the road which also belonged to the hotel always had room. The pub attached to the hotel seemed to attract locals as well as guests and the prices were ’pub’ not ’hotel bar’.

I loved that when we arrived at the hotel the staff were so friendly. Once we arrived at our room, we saw that the hotel had placed a plate in our room with Happy Anniversary piped on a plate in chocolate with a lovely little cake in the centre. The hotel was spotless and pretty luxurious. I felt that staying in this hotel was a lovely treat away from home for our anniversary and we fe.

I thought the hotel facilities were really good the gym was excellentand the quality and standard of the hotel was also really good. I washowever disappointed that I was not offered dressing gowns in the roomand despite having booked an full hour treatment I was told that I hadto hire a gown as they were not included (I was expected to either bringmy own or undress and then re-dress, which was not really acceptable asI was covered in oil! The spa was also far too busy with hen parties onspa days and I think the hotel should consider limiting the numbers ofpeople they accept as I was unable to.

As we were meeting with family the room was only used for somewhere to sleep. Having lived in Chester - in fact a two minute walk from the hotel I know parking can be difficult. It wasn’t expensive but the lighting layout was superb. Why is hotel lighting normally so poor.
Anonymous  — 15.8.2011.
V clean. Extremely efficient, helpful and friendly staff -much better than at some more expensive hotels we’ve stayed at! Would be a great place for girls/lads weekend or for shopping & sightseeing in chester. Curry from the restaurant was surprisingly good! Lots of choices on the menu but basic as u would expect from this sort of hotel.

The family room was excellent (4 of us stayed - 2 adults, and 2adult/children). Carparking was easy, and there is a bus stop just outside the hotel intoChester (though it’s a L1. It’s about a 15/20minute walk from the centre, back to the hotel. The hotel was very goodvalue, and the room was spacious and comfortable.

Hotel was very convenient for Chester City. Decor in the rooms was very dated but fit in with the age of thehotel. Our roomwas spacious, dated and slightly dusty ( nik naks on the shelves) butwith a new, very clean ensuite with a full size bath and shower over. Breakfast was adequate and tea and toast plentiful.
