The staff are very helpful; in fact probably the best hotel staff I havecome across. The Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel is set in its own grounds soyou get the feeling of the countryside even though you are a short walkaway from Bath centre. Car park facilities are £5 for your stay which isvery good for Bath from what I have seen. Location is excellent forgetting around Bath. The Hotel was very clean. The rooms aren't new butthe quality more than makes up for this. I liked the gym facilities, staff were on hand to answer any questions. I didn't use the Spafacilities as it was busy time of year (Christmas/New Year)understandably I think it is best to book the Spa in advance.

We had a wonderful time. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are large and airy and well equipped- although sky would have ben nice! The hotel and room was really peaceful and quiet despite the hotel being full. The food was Excellent. All the produce being fresh, local/uk and free range. The choice at breakfast was fantastic, very fresh and the restaurant clean. We would definately return although next time use the spa as this is what makes it good value for money. But as the Hotel was just an easy 10min walk into the city we went shopping instead!!

The staff were friendly and very helpful and we got a complimentary upgrade to a skyline room which was great, the view was lovely. My sister and I both commented that it is the little things that make a hotel feel luxurious such as the free water in rooms and the spa, magazines in the spa and molton brown toiletries. So many hotels provide these but charge as a way of increasing profits. I would certainly recommend the hotel to others and it was recommended to us.
