Booked last minute for a quick get away, after searching many B&B’s wewere spoilt for choice in Torquay and narrowed it down to price in theend to include breakfast. You could not go wrong with this b&b, itsfamily run and very friendly and the warm welcome starts with a pot oftea and a slice of cake as you are taken to your room. Full englishbreakfast included in the price and you are within easy walking distanceof the seafront and town but at the same time out of the hustle andbustle of town, only negative is the advertised wifi signal is so weak itdoes not work anywhere in the building.

The owners were very friendly & accomodating without being overbearing. The breakfast was good value & the location was at a good central point to travel to & from all of Torquay’s beaches. The hotel location was also within walking distance of the town centre & one main beach. The location was also far enough away from the town centre to still allow a good nights sleep.

It was our first time at this particular hotel and we very much enjoyedthe experience. We thought value for money was excellent comparing it to thelarge hotel chains in Plymouth particularly being able to park, free ofcharge, quite safely in the road outside - we have paid as much as L10to park overnight in another Plymouth city centre hotel. The breakfastchoice was good and it was beautifully served. All in all a good experience which we hope to repeat.
Richard  — 6.11.2010.
The hotel is close to the train station and the town centre so ideal postion. The stff were very helpful and made you feel welcome, the hotel was very clean and modern and the breakfast choice was very good and cooked well. I have stayed ay many hotels in the past six months in Devon and Cornwall and this is one of the best.
Anonymous  — 11.4.2010.
The staff was friendly, good breakfast. The hotel was stylish and well located for the train station and not too far a walk from the center. Plymouth is not a lively tourist destination, but has good links for day trips to Torbay, Exeter, Truro, etc. The hotel is close to the university.
