I think the hotel could do with a complete refurbishment, it is lookingvery dated and tired, the room was clean but linoleum on bathroomfloors etc is not the norm expected these days. I did like the poolarea although the changing rooms were a little austere. Reception wasagain adequate but did look cold and uninviting. Breakfast was goodalthough should have been for.its 15.50 pound price tag.I Did like thevillage feel of the place but would have preferred it if the public barhad been open to the olde worlde pub on the site.Car parking was morethan adequate.
Paul  — 23.1.2012.
The rooms were modern and clean. Reception was very helpful, the restaurant staff could not have been more friendly. the Spa was fantastic, one of the best ever.

We have stayed at this hotel as a romantic break for our anniversary for the last 2 years now. Then we get ready and go into Bolton for a meal and few drinks, then come back to the hotel for a drink before retiring to our room. We always find the rooms so warm & cosy & spotless, the staff are always friendly & helpful. We have also been to this hotel before for my friends wedding reception & a christmas party from work, and have always enjoyed our stay.
John  — 14.6.2010.
There was nothing I liked about the hotel, I gave a list to thereception on all the points I complained about dirty room ,bathroom, covered up smoke deterectors a bad smell in the room I could go on andon ,this hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in and at a price of L89just for a room I would expect much better. I Was told the guestrelations manager would look into it but nothing happened it wasdistgusting and I will in future revert back to what I know I can trustpremier inn.

Location. We stayed 1 night room only as we were at a Wedding elsewhere, so can’t comment on any facilities of the hotel. Only saw reception staff to book in and book out of hotel. We had a quiet room but heard other people complaining about very noisy rooms.

Lorna  — 24.1.2011.
Helpful, friendly staff; excellent freshly-cooked breakfast; Wifi genuinely worked very easily; car-park visible from road. Proprietors unusually helpful regarding takeaway food - offered cutlery/crockery in bar, lounge or bedroom (though we didn’t do this). Comfortable bed. All was as it ought to be! I have booked to stay here again next time we visit Bolton although it is not the most central.
John  — 24.2.2010.
