We found this hotel to be good quality for the price. possibly not due to its location and until Blackpool can clean up its image!Travelling from Australia to visit family we found Blackpool a bit of shock with many shops and buildings boarded up. Blackpool some how has to raise its image along with food prices in bars ect and hotels. We found this hotel more of a safe haven after a day out in Blackpool.
Alison  — 17.5.2011.
We picked the big blue hotel at Blackpool as we wanted to enjoyBlackpool but not stay in a shabby hotel/b and b as we had done in thepast. The hotel was amazing my two young children loved the the seperatesleeping area with snakes and ladders on the wall -when we arrived wewere asked where we would like our room with I thought was relly nice wepicked a room over looking the pleasure beach and it was so funny to seeall the faces of the people on the rides we have booked to go back inoctober. Also an amazing breakfast would recomend this hotel.

The hotel was very funky looking probably the best looking hotel in blackpool next door to pleasure beach which is convienient for young travellers also the staff at hotel and people in blackpool r very friendly i would highly recommend staying there to anyone and will book this hotel again for my stay in future.

Great hotel for a short trip to Blackpool. Compared to previous experiences, I was a little nervous aboutreturning to Blackpool as some accommodation leaves a lot to be desired. But your hotel was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was lovely (althoughsome things a little cold), but that was due to the heaters going out. But all in all, a pleasant stay and we woulduse you again.
Roberta  — 16.6.2010.
The hotel was easy to find and at the quiet South Side of Blackpool. Westayed friday and saturday night and the guy that did the entertainmentwas excellent (especially with the kids. ) The food in the hotel wasabsolutely delicious and the kids food was outstanding and exceptionallyhuge!!! The room was comfy for us and the cleanliness of the hotel wasexceptional. I couldnt find any fault with this hotel.
Kevin  — 16.1.2011.
Hotel was nice and comfortable. this hotel is a little far away from centre but Blackpool is no longer a destination with "life". This is my last ever time in Blackpool - nothing to do with hotel though. If I did go back I would stay here again.

This hotel was ridiculous for the price it was a hours walk from the fair even though we got told 15 min walk. Couldn’t book in till half 2 so missed half day at the fair coz when we did book in the girl at the counter was to busy talking about her weekend away with her work college I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone unless they was going for a romantic weekend and didn’t plan to leave the room for anything. Even the trams was like every hour so taxis wad like 10 pound feel robbed by Blackpool and this hotel!!!.
George  — 1.7.2010.
The staff were all very nice especially the lady on reception. thebreakfast was great value considering the amount we paid for the 1 nightaccommodation. The hotel does need some money spending on a re-furb butI guess its difficult for them considering the little profit they areleft with on such low b&b tariff. We wish them lots of luck, and we willreturn next time we are in blackpool.

When we booked this hotel we were contacted the day before we were due to arrive to tell us we were not able to stay there due to no available rooms and told we were staying in a different hotel a lot further away from the centre of blackpool we said we were not happy but told that we could not have a refund of our monies so we had no other option but to accept this other hotel however the day we were due to arrive at the alternative hotel we got another phone call to say there were vacancies at the metropole and they gave us a free upgrade which sounds very good but if the room we stayed in.

Nothing! I will be writing a formal complaint to the hotel itself. Ipaid for this hotel for 2 nights as a short break for my mum and dadsbirthday as their birthday is on the same day and my mum was 50 thisyear. And were even considering staying at afamily members who lives in blackpool for the second night. If your justlooking for a place to crash then maybe this is the place but if youwould like a half decent hotel do not choose this one!.

The apartment was lovely, it was a perfect size for the two of us and exactly what we wanted. We managed to park outside the hotel (it is street parking) but there is a city parking place that is really close and really cheap (L2 for the whole day i think). The guy that owns the place was really helpful, when we got there he told us where everything is to see in blackpool. Blackpool was really cold and wet when.
Louise  — 27.8.2010.
The apartments are in a quieter part of Blackpool but only ten mins walk to the main action. Lovely italian restaurant opposite the apartments too which was reasonably priced although did get busy. Everything u need is in the apartments, we took our own breakfast food to start the day and plenty of shops about to stock up on milk, bread etc if there for a few days. We got parked right outside the apartments and was easy to find. The owner Phil was really friendly and gave us lots of useful info about gettin around Blackpool.
Michael  — 3.6.2010.
The apartment was very clean and the owners were extremely helpful. My girlfriend and I visited Blackpool to spend a day on the pleasure beach and to have a night on the town. The accommodation is north of the tower and about 15minutes walk to the town centre so it is quiet after hours. We will be staying here again should we venture to Blackpool anytime again in the near future.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming from the moment of arriving until leaving and it felt like you had known them for years. The hotel is small but very cosy and the room was immaculate and very comfortable. They couldn't have done anything more to help during the stay if anything was needed they did their best to help. Hotel is right on the seafront and located only a short bus trip to most places or a short walk into the town if you like to walk. Special mention has to go to Sim for being such a lovely person and doing her best to make the stay really good. Hope to come back and stay again soon.
Chris  — 8.11.2011.
Good location on the promenade, very easy to find and within handywalking distance of the beach, town and pleasure beach (with a tram stopjust over the road if you don't want to walk), it's not far fromthe football ground either. Despite being in a good position foreverything it's far enough from the centre to avoid being noisy.Great welcome, even greater breakfasts and a nice quirkiness and charmthat you don't get at bland modern hotels.
Rob  — 29.11.2011.
Hotel staff went out of their way to make a pleasurable stay. We weren't interrupted or pressured to do anything, we were gave full range of the hotel's facilities without any problems. Booked three rooms for five friends and our stay was very pleasant. On the promenade but (from what I remember) not much noise from outside whilst trying to sleep. Wonderful stay.

Everything about this hotel was 1st class ,from the rooms which werestated on the net as interconnecting rooms were spot on, having stayedin various hotels in blackpool b4 which had stated family rooms only tobe greeted by a double bed and bunk beds squashed into1 room, this placeis what it says , and even better the room where the boys slept(14 & 11)had its own playstation and toilet and washing facilitys as well as tv,no waking mams and dads up in middle of night !Our room had an en suitewhich also was a bonus very clean and well decorated. The hosts jay andlaura work non stop to make sure your stay is superb, the friendlynesswhen u walk in doesnt stop till u are back home, now to start mentioningthe breakfasts well what can I say ? one of the reasons I booked thishotel was because of the reviews ,and I can honestly say the breakfastswere out of this world, what ever u wanted off the list was there, beautifully cooked from toast to full english, omelettes ,eggy breadbasically what eve

Iliked the relaxed atmosphere, the weekend entertainment, the fact that you could have a quiet night just listening to a couple of singers in two different venues at the hotel and no problem with rowdey drunks on the streets and in the pubs, and only haveing to go upstairs at the end of the night without haveing to worry about transport back, but also within easy walking distance of any of blackpools nightspots if you were so inclined, the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, they were also smartly dressed for both bar work and mealtimes, also , the food was very good, wou.
