I liked everything in this hotel. Location for short business trip is very convinient, personell is very friendly and helpful, food and service at the restaurant is excellent, etc. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It was second time, I will stay again and recomend to my friends.

It is an excellent hotel, the rooms are amazing and large with a very nice view. The location of the hotel is very convenient however you need to walk uphill if you want to reach Taksim Square. The food was excellent and the staff always manage to get you what you want even if it is not available. I would say it is worth the money but then it is not cheap.

The Service was exceptional - all of the hotel staff were very helpfuland welcoming and took extra good care of our 2-year toddler. We feltcompletely at home. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfastselection was great. The view of the bosphorous from the breakfast roomwas superb.

the best value for money, definitly will stay there everytime i will go to Istanbul, very close to Taksim and Istiklal areas (walking distance 10 minutes) - also very close to Ortokoy and Bebek (by Taxi is just under 20 TL)

I liked very much the friendly and extremely helpful staff partcularly at the reception desk from the Time of arrival and throughout our stay. They communicate very well in English and that was extremely helpful. The central location of the hotel was an asset in moving around. Breakfast was very nice. The hotel was very neat and clean and comfortable and had all what is needed to make our stay a pleasant one.

The breakfasts were briliant and the beds were the best hotel beds we have ever used. The staff were very polite and would knock on your door to offer you chocolate. I was very impressed. A pool would have been the only thing to have made this hotel even better.

I chose this hotel because the price and the location were really attractive, but I could not imagine my choice would be that good. The hotel staff is fantastic - very polite and very out-going, always ready to help you with good advice. The location is perfect - 5-7 minute walk to the Blue Mosque and other tourist destinations in the Sultanahmet area, and at the same time very quiet. We had a nice room with sea view. I would also mention the size of the rooms - usually budget hotel rooms in areas close to tourist attractions are very small, but not in the Art City Hotel. The rooms are quite big and very clean and comfortable. You feel at home. Thank you! I will definitely choose this hotel again for my Istanbul trips.

Having chosen to visit Istanbul to visit the great sites such as theBlue Mosque and Topkapi Palace we wanted to stay within walking distanceand in an area that had historical character so we chose on line thehotel Senatus which is in Sultanamnet. It was perfect, only 5 minuteswalk from all major sites, surrounded by restuarants and bars. Oursuperior room was very spacious with lots of wardrobe space, a greatbathroom with a jaccuzi bath, wide screen television, very comfortableking size bed and good modern decor. There was a Turkish style breakfastincluded, lots of cheeses, eggs, cold meats, salads and fruit with warmrolls. When the hotel received our booking, they immediately sent us anemail offering to arrange a transfer from the airport which was great assome of the little streets in the area are quite difficult to find andwe also had them arrange our return transfer. We only ate lunch at thehotel in between our site seeing, which was very pleasant and the hotelstaff reccommended an

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Senatus and would definitelyrecommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Istanbul (we saw so manyhotels, including 5*, but would still stay at the Senatus). Few minuteswalk from all the key sites and on a beautiful street with lots ofrestaurants which gives you a wonderful feeling of being on holiday.Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Bathroom in the Superior DoubleRoom had a jacuzzi which was great. Hotel restaurant serves very tastyand fresh food and can customize the menu to your requirements (ate here3 times in 4 days). Hotel staff very friendly. You cannot go wrongbooking with the Senatus hotel whilst visiting Istanbul.

We stayed in the Senatus Hotel from 17.12.2010 to 24.12.2010 in a deluxe room. First of all I'd like to say that the hotel stuff was extremely friendly and helpful from the first day and till the end of our stay. The deluxe room has a very nice romantic design with lots of space. The hotel in general is very cozy and is located right next to all the attractions and historical spots. Breakfast is pretty nice with a good variety of foods. I really loved the cappuccino they make in the hotel restaurant. I definetly suggest this hotel and will stay there again during my next trip to Istanbul!!

The staffs were very kind andhelpful espceially Omar & Kadeer who were very supportive and helped usalot. I really like to give a special thanks for the owner & theemployees of this hotel who took care of all the small details andconcern about the comfort of the guests. I highly recommend all thetravellers to book this hotel and they will see the real hotel meaning.

I stayed at this hotel with my parents, as my friends highly recommendedit. It's great that there is a kitchten in the room. This hotel islocated to near Osmanbey metro station which enables us to access toTaksim easily. The staffs are kind people. I want to stay here againwhen I will come to Istanbul in the future, and an idea to stay at 'jazzhotel' which is a sister-hotel with "Gallery Residence" also seems nice.(They are apart each other just two blocks.)

First of all: Superfriendly and helpful staff !! (Thx Mr. Aydin foreverything!). They always have a few nice words to guests and ready tohelp anytime. Room and the hotel is very nice, modern design, looksbrand new. Coffee machine, teapot, ironing board, minibar and even aromantic fireplace in the room! Double bed is really huge, pillows,blankets are of excellent quality. Bathroom was also elegantlydecorated, with a contemporary design shower. Location is perfect, justa few steps from the main and busy pedestrian street between TaksimSquare and Tünel, with shops and restaurants, still the hotel provides aquiet place to relax, as it is situated in a little cross-street. Publictransportation is also within a few minutes. Though there is no breakfast in the hotel, this is not a drawback, as you can find dozens of places to have different breakfast every day right as you step out of the hotel. I would definitely come back and recommend it gladly to friends and family.

A fewsteps from Istiklal Cadesi,Taksim, the main and busy area in Istanbul.10 minutes walk to Galata Tower and 3 minutes walk to Taksim TremStation. Its on small street near Swatch shop and FrancaisInstitute.Price is not including breakfast however is worthed. Lots ofrestaurants around.The hotel is clean, modern minimalist design,comfybad even room bit small, I love the bathroom!!!. Excellent service fromfriendly staffs: Nuri,Florentina, Elif, an old man housekeeper ( I don'tknow his name, thanks was cleaning my room prefectly) and others staffthat I don't know their name made my stay memorable. Most of theinformation about Stories Aprt Karakol that I got from booking.com arereliable, Wifi in the room has high speed access. Highly recommended tostay in this hotel if you come to Istanbul, energic traveler, enjoyingnightlife in Taksim, close to everywhere and never get bored!!!! :)

Stories apart is a comfortable small hotel located in the heart of city, at Taksim square. We loved the hotel and especially the ones who work there. They were helpful about every kind of request. Regarding my previous experiences around Taksim area; this hotel is a gem. We loved everything about the facility but especially the fireplace in the room and bath amenities more. I strongly recommend this facility to anyone who want to stay around Taksim square in Istanbul and want a cozy, comfortable place.

First of all, the hotel has a very good location: in the heart ofIstiklal Street. With a minute walk you can find yourself in theentertainment center of Istanbul (good for shopping as well). Althoughit is that close to the busy center, it is a very quiet and peacefulhotel. With 15 min walk from the beautiful Tunel Street (from GalataTower), you can reach the historical part of Istanbul (Hagia Sofia, BlueMosque...). Other things we liked about the hotel was the comfort,amenities, and especially the design and cleanliness.

The ratio between price and quality is simply amazing. The hotel has agreat strategic location, two minutes walk from Istiklal and only 5minutes from Taksim. The parking, reccomended by the hotel is veryconvenient and close to both the hotel and to Istiklal. The staff atreception was different every day, but very nice. The apartments arenot different from the pictures that are posted on the internet, Ionly had the the impression that the rooms are bigger ... but that'snot a trouble.

I absolutely loved the hotel. It has pretty convenient location, not too far from Taksim square and Istiklal street. It's quiet at night there, not like in Taksim with all the noisy clubs and pubs. And it also feels more like an apartment not like a hotel as there's no reception, although it's not that far from the residence. The staff is very nice as well, receptionists speak english, the room was cleaned almost every day. All in all good place to stay, highly recommended!

Three Apples hotel and residencelocated 10 min walk from the Taksim Square in the direction opposite tomajor shopping street Istiklal Cad. Very quiet place as the nearestvicinity is a residential area with no tourists, restaurants or bigstores. However 10 min walk will get you in the heart of Taksim whichnever sleeps! We got a fantastic and luxurious apartment on top floor. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room with large kitchen annex with microwave and dishwasher. Big flat TV hanged on the wall dvd satellite (only Turkish channels though). Large table so you can eat properly like at home, large corner sofa, two smaller armchairs. Interior is modern, done with taste reminds an “upper-shelf” IKEA, which I like. Large balcony overlooking Golden Horn, the view is even better from the roof terrace accessible

Do not worry about the alley which at first may be a shock,but it is completely safe with normal shops to buy foods and fruits.

The appartment was in downtown Taxim, very central, easy to get intoTaxim, however it was in a desperately poor residential area of thecity which made coming and going from the appartment somewhatchallenging! Rubbish was strewn around the street, nobody in the areaappeared to be gainfully employed other than for collecting plasticrubbish, it didn't feel good! Stay here if on cheap budget! The placeis functional but not clean, even though they stated that the cleanerwould come in once a week! Hotel would have been same price with betterservice! Rating 1 out of 10!

If you don't mind a walk up hill, the location of this is very good. Youare close to Taksim but it is lovely and quiet and despite looking a bittatty in places, the area is safe. There are 2 food grocery shops closeby, within 2 mins for your daily needs. The apartment is a good size asthere were 4 of us , all adult. The heating and hot water system wassuperb and we were very cosy. We tended to cook breakfast and there wasample stuff in the kitchen. If coming in a group - I would definatelybook it again. We felt it was excellent value for money and much nicerthan being in a hotel room.

The staff is really good, Location is perfect not far from station (but you do not hear trains) and near Sultanakhmet. Guesthouse is small but cosy, rooms are good aspassually for this price. There is no problem with paying by credit card, you can reserve bus to the airport for 5 euro per person, WiFi works normal.

Good value for your money. The staff was friendly and helpful. Simple accommodations, as expected in a guesthouse, but comfortable. Breakfast much better than 2 star hotel that I stayed before. The location is prime and near major points of interest, besides that in a quiet place of the old town.

Sweet location, the staff is very nice and friendly, the terrace isgreat, it has lockers, the food it's ok... I've been in other hostels inistambul and think this is the best one and one of the cheapest. Irecomend it.

If you want to stay in sultanahmet with a cheap price , this isdefinitely the place to stay at ! the location and price are amazing andthe staff are okay. Its very close to the blue mosque and the tram. i took a shared room , and the people with me in the room were very nice and i had a locker with a key to keep my valuable stuff inside, and the day i checked out i left my bag at the entrance and took it in the afternoon for my flight back home. the rooftop is very nice!

It's location was super as it is within walking distance from all major Istanbul attractions and near Sirkeci/Eminonu a vital hub for all public transport. Moreover and above all the staff makes it a friendly atmosphere ,as they are all very polite and ready to help you... They even organize nights out in Taksim square. Abolutely loved it ...no need to search more when I go back to Istanbul
