The hotel is located in the heart of Zurich but not exactly on the central noisy roads. Just 2 min downstairs and you will find yourself exactly in the centre. The hotel has extremely friendly staff! They even made the upgrade for us without any additional payment. It was also a pleasure to find champagne, sweets in the room as the hotel present. Its also very appreciated by me their attention to the details like very cleen carpet, Chopard washing items, comfortable bed and unforgetable mattress with a lot of pillows, nice linen...the feeling is that you get asleep at your favourite bed at home...I am very grateful to them and will stay there every time I arrive to Zurich!

The hotel is located within 5 minutes of the central railway station, shops and bars. The staff were very helpful, the room was clean and to a high standard. The room had air conditioning, which was a must as it was very hot at night when I stayed in late June. The bathroom consisted of a shower, toilet and wash basin all of which were well maintained, very clean and to a high standard. The hotel included complimentary WiFi for the duration of my stay which I used to make free phone calls using skype from the room. When I booked out of the hotel I was asked if I required a taxi which I thought was a nice touch.

Hotel Continental Zurich was a superb experience for us. It was within walking distance of the station and an excellent tram service and also the old town and virtually everything one would want to see and do in Zurich. We had a lovely, quiet, well appointed room, immaculately presented. There is an excellent bar, elegantly appointed, the whole hotel is a very pleasant place to stay. We enjoyed a very pleasant room service dinner one evening.

Hotel Continental Zurich was a superb experience for us. The hotel was a very easy walk from the train station even with luggagein tow. We were able to check in early as our room was ready which waswonderful. The staff was amasingly helpful. We had a young lady when wechecked in and a very nice gentleman when we left early in the morning.The location of hotel was perfect; we were able to easily walk aroundtown and spent the entire day doing so. Very glad used booking.com tobook this hotel because we picked it based on reviews and price and theyboth were right on the money. Rooms very clean, had a street view,wonderful service, wonderful breakfast... Would definitely recommend toanyone to stay at.

The location of the hotel is great, very close to the main railway station and all the main attractions. The room, although small, was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was very nice, continental style but plentiful and the breakfast room looked like it had just been refurbished. Reception staff were all very helpful and friendly. Plenty of eating places on the same road as the hotel. I thought the room price was expensive but they are all expensive in Zurich so compared to others its value for money.

The hotel's location was perfect for our purpose. We occupied threedouble rooms and while we were warned that these are small rooms, inreality, the rooms are comfortably-sized. The place is quiet, yet veryclose to the city center. Windows in the room and in the bathroom can beopened which is good for people who want some fresh air in. Breakfast isjust right. Tram lines 11 and 14 have stations very close to the hoteland the Zurich hb is just one tram stop away.

I selected to stay at the Zuercherhof on my way home to Australia. Iwanted to spend a day in Zuerich before flying out. The location wasimportant to me and the shuttle service bus to the airport. However, Ifound the time of the shuttle bus too early, as my plane ( Emirates)flew out at Klothen at 22.15pm However, I was pleased that the Hotelextended my departure time by an hour and also I could upon my arrivalat the hotel at 11 am immediately occupy my room.

This hotel is on the only red-light district road in Zurich, but it is not as sleazy as one might think. But it was a bit strange to have hookers work the street when we came back in the evening. You have to pay for internet and parking is extra costing 25 francs. However, the location is very central and it was among the cheapest we could find (330 francs for 3 adults). Room was basic but sufficient. Included breakfast was OK. Staff was accommodating.

The triple room was spacy and the beds really comfortable. The best partwas the breakfast, since the decoration of the breakfast room wasimpressive, and the breakfast itself great. The hotel is located in thecentre of Zurich, only 5 minutes from the city's central train station.Actually, you do not even need to use the tram or bus to go around thecity, just walk.

The rooms towards the street are very noisy. There is a bar outsidewhich is open until late every night. Even if the windows are shut youcan still very much hear all the noice. If it is warm and you need tohave the windows open all the cigarette smoke from the smokers will gointo your room. The hotel is ok but to stay in a room towards the streetis for people who really dont mind noise. The rooms are a bit like ayouth hostel by Ikea style. For the price, 120 euros per night, itsrather bad value for money.

Very convenient location. I also appreciated the free Wifi. I hardly go to hotels without it. I guess it's less about the money, but the principle: a hotel with free internet access seems to want to do something nice for the customer. A hotel that makes you pay 10 euro/hour or 25 euro/day for internet just wants to make money.

Very clean, excellent key card system, very fonctional hotel, ideal fora few nights visiting Zurich for a few nights on buisness or leisure. 10minutes walk to the central station, the hotel is an effecient andpractical place to stay. Will certainly return.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. Although it wasn't easyto find at first, (you have to drive towards Departures/Arrivals beforeit is signposted), it is very convenient. We had to return a rental carand it was an easy walk back to the hotel through the airport after drop-off. It's also near the highways and very easy to get away from. Theroom was a decent size and the panorama view of the airport wasinteresting. The beds were very comfortable and the towel warmer in thebathroom was a delight - even in the middle of summer - nice big, pre-warmed, fluffy towels...heavenly!

Despite being onthe airport our room was very quiet. We were impressed with the hotelreception staff and the comfort of the beds.

I really enjoyed the set up of the apartment. Getting the key from the back of the appartment was ideal as we arrived in Zurich very late and it was reassuring to know that we would have no trouble getting in. The room was a nice size and very comfortable.

the room has a good area make you feel comfort. the location of the hotel is excellent. it's in front of tram station which take you in minutes to zurich center and main train station. we recived the room very clean and the tv was nice. we liked this hotel.

Just the price and the location (next to a tram station with directconnection to the city center - 15 min). There is a public parkingclose to the stadium with decent rates (for Switzerland) - 5 min fromthe hotel.

It's one of the most reasonably priced hotels I could find in Zurich.The 2 ladies at the reception were very friendly and most helpful! Ofall the hotel-apartments I stayed in Switzerland, this was the only onethat provided fresh towels and cleaning daily. If you need a late check-in they have an automated machine. Tip: Their website recommends getting off at 'Klusplatz', which is farther and difficult to navigate if you have heavy luggage (esp since tram stop is under construction/maintenance), I found stopping at Holderlinstrasse a lot eaiser and nearer)

It is important to realize that California house is a set of apartments and not a hotel. With correct expectations, the place is very nice and provides good value for money. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. We checked in late using the automated check-in machine without any problems. Staff arranged an extra bed on request. The room had both a PC and wireless internet.

I liked almost everything about this place and the most we all liked the staff, especially Miguel who was great! We were welcomed and received perfectly and served during our short stay at the best way possible. The hotel was very well located in a nice zone, a few tram stops to the city center. The apartments were spacious, modern, clean and well decorated. Very high speed internet was available even if you haven’t got your lap top with you. Our room was a penthouse with a lovely roof top which had a table and a shelter to have a drink while looking at the beautiful Zürich scene

Comfort and cleanliness of the room was excellent. Nice modern bathroom with excellent shower in the bath unfortunately not a dedicated shower cubicle. The double bed was extremely comfortable with large pillows.Breakfast was rather basic but adequate and fresh. Easy walking distance about 14 mins to the Hauptbahnhof.

Location very good; people very nice and breakfast superb. It is economical and it is clean. BUT: TV didn`t work; no safe in room and toilet seat was very loose when I arrived and fell off before I left.
