The room was very nice and the reception staff were helpful. We didfind a very good restaurant at the bottom of the first flight of steps,across the road and down the second flight of steps and turn leftcalled El Fanal.

The hotel was welcoming and warm when we entered, the bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. It was an ideal stopping point for the ferry at Santander and the mountains of the Picos de Europe. The village has some excellent restaurants to cater for all pockets.

Room was very impressive, comfortable with two big armchairs to sit in a look at the magnificent view of the bay and beach below. Staff very helpful, surfers breakfast very good value. They also allow dogs and have free wifi. Although the parking is public it is next to the hotel.

The sea views - room directly overlooked Playa de los Locos, There areseveral other swimmin / surfing beaches nearby, Friendly and helpfulstaff, Some English spoken but best to either be fluent in Spanish orhave your phrase book. Spiral staicase was a surpisebut we managed ok and the staff helped withour luggage. on our arrival.

We loved our few days in Suances, delightful seaside village with good bars/restaurants. Hotel Playa Ribera staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. We hope to return.

Stylish modern hotel. Ideal spot for beach holiday and also for exploring Cantabria and Asturias. Free parking and easy to park nearby if the car park is full. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Transferred on arrival to sister hotel which had more facilities. this was decided by the hotel due to our length of stay and was really nice of them as it made our stay much better. Friendly staff throughout, quiet location compared to most hotels in the area.

We were greeted by the owners, and were given a very warm welcome, theshowed us our room and explained everything that we needed to know. Wehad our German Shepard dog with us and the hotel had no problemaccepting him. This is very good value for money and I would recommendthis hotel for either a long or short stay. On our next trip we willstay there again

The hotel was well situated and quite comfortable, the customers all likeable and well behaved, there was a private car park, and the people who run the place (a brother and sister) were very nice, outgoing and hearty, helpful and very happy to be so. Great breakfast in all regards. The whole place was absolutely impeccable and the owners totally devoted to their trade and customers.
