To our surprise this was not a Hotel but an apartment with no hotel service whatsoever. So do not book it expecting to be in a Hotel. The apartment was a good size and could have been very enjoyable but due to the lack of a number of small items it disappointed.

A pleasant hotel in a tranquil setting (on the edge of the golf course).We wanted a place to stay overnight on our way down to the South ofSpain. It was much cheaper than the seaside hotels and in beautifulsurroundings and not far from the motorway exit. It is a 15 minute drivefrom Vinaros where we went for a stroll by the fishing harbour and had ameal in a good restaurant favoured by the locals. Didn't have time totry the pool but it looked very nice.

We had a nice weekend in Peniscola! The view was amazing,the hotel staff really friendly and the location was good for walking along the promenade and the restaurants.

The location is perfect for visiting the town of Peniscola. Breakfast was basic but fair. Rooms were clean. Overall the hotel side was ok.

I wrote a long email to the manager of the hotel explaining the poolwhich was dirty and the food which was very poor had made me ill on thefirst night of our stay. I asked to speak to the manager on fouroccasions 0n the second day to see if he could move us to a differenthotel. He never spoke to me and the receptionist was very unhelpful andreally ruined our holiday. The manager has still not replied tocomplaints about the hotel and the staff.
