This is probably the best hotel we have stayed at in Spain. The staff were very professional and attentive and real credit to the Parador hotel network. The facilities are first rate, the location a joy, the building itself is beautifully restored and we will be returning.

We book the Parador Hotels because we are guaranteed a good standard of room and location. This hotel exceeded expectations. The inerior of the hotel was stunning. The town is beautiful and unspoilt.

We’ve stayed in other Paradors in Spain and have found this to be at the top of the list. Free parking 1 block from the hotel. Also great bike paths and mountain hikes nearby. Excellent buffet brunch in a refined atmosphere tho not included in our rate.

The converted old monastery was very well done. The room was comfortablewith an updated bathroom. The buffet breakfast was exceptionally good.The staff were very attentive. Parking is free in the hotel parking lot.Wi-fi is free and they have a free computer to use in the lobby. Theyalso have a free gym with good equipment.The location is walkingdistance downhill to the old part of Segovia. Segovia is a wonderful oldtown. Good restaurants, interesting sights and the Roman aqueduct whichbegins right outside the hotel is remarkable. Two days we were able totake a 1 1/4 hour ride into Madrid by a comfortable bus. Would stay atthis hotel again.

This was our second visit to the San Antonio el Real, which tells youthat we were well satisfied the first time around. However, on ourinitial trip we never tried the hotel's own restaurant for an eveningmeal, choosing instead to stroll down to the town. What a mistake! Whilethe dining experience in town was all you could wish for, the dishesserved up in the lovely setting of what is a converted monastery takesome beating. We shall return again for sure as Segovia is an excellentstopping-off point for those on a driving holiday heading up from thesouth of Spain and looking to break the journey before, say, catchingthe ferry home at either Santander or Bilbao. .

Excellent location close to beautiful Segovia and accessed easily for the South and East. On-site parking, some of which was underground and some covered. Quietness, ambience in public areas, restaurant style, courtyard setting, association with the ancient history of the area all very good. Everything worked well, including good hot water. We did not use the hotel's restaurant for dinner, although heard from fellow guests that it provided excellent food. There are many choices for diners in Segovia, which involves some exercise up and down the city's gradients, although this was next to their famous Roman Aquaduct. General restaurant food wholesome and economical, plus local specialities are on all menus.
