This was a good base for taking trips out to various places along thecoast. Very reasonably priced hotel in a pretty town on an estuary withspectacular views. The hotel is opposite a popular square. Two sets ofbells nearby chimed every quarter of an hour, but we soon got used tothem and they didn't continue overnight. The young girl on receptionspoke and understood English adequately, which was a great help.

Hotel is located in a lovely old building right in the centre and very close to the cathedral. Immaculately clean and tastefully decorated room which faced an inner courtyard which meant that it was nice and quiet. Highly recommended.

The hotel was lovely and the staff made us feel more than welcome. Theviews from the room were stunning. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. It is only a short walk into town were thereare bars and restaurants.

A calm atmosphere pervaded the hotel, which added to the relaxed feel of the place. The staff were friendly and did their best to communicate in English. The location was excellent, overlooking the river and within easy reach of the harbour and town centre.

The room was clean. The mother of the owner spoke English and was very enthusaistic in telling us which sights to visit and where best to get an evening meal. She was very friendly.
