Superb value for money in a lovely hotel on a breathtakingly beautiful beach which was basically private as so few people used it. I had booked a room for 3, but for just 20 Euros more per day we were given a lovely suite of 2 very large rooms and bathroom with both rooms overlooking the beach. It was truly idyllic sleeping with the windows open and the only sound audible being the noise of the waves lapping the beach. I highly recommend the hotel and cannot wait to return.

The pictures in the resteraunt show there has been a hotel here for many years. The menu is varies with both "menu of the day (well priced)" and a la carte options, good service! Fantastic buffet breakfast, one of the best we've ever seen. The beach itself is very good with open golden sands asd interesting caves/rock pools to explore. A good hotel for families and.

Fabulous location! We did not order a sea view room, but got one for the same price! In fact, it is worth paying a bit more and having such a gorgeous view. La Franca is a tiny village having a strategic position to explore both Cantabria and Asturia, incl. The hotel offers rather spacious and very comfortable rooms and decent breakfast. Friendly staff, cos.

the proprietor was most helpful as we arrived late and she was very concerned about us. we did have difficulty in finding the hotel due to the ferry being late on arrival it was dark and road signs in spain are not helpful at the best of times but we did get there and she was extremely helpful Internet could not be accessed

Elena was an extremely warm, gracious hostess, who obviously loves whatshe does, and loves her area of Spain. She wanted to share all of itsgifts with us, but we simply didn't have enough time to do everything.Unfortunately, it rained the days we were there, but even that did nottake away from our enjoyment of staying at Bajo Los Tilos. We willdefinitely go back, and spend more time. The other couples we met there,also never wanted to leave.
