This hotel is in a great location, minutes away from Plaza Santa Annawhere there are lots of bars and restaurants. The hotel is on the thirdand fourth floors of a grand looking building (with a lift) but thehotel itself is a bit shabby and worn, but very clean. The bed wasuncomfortable. However, the price for a double was very good value formoney. The only problem we had was that people were paryting outside ofour room until 6am (when we had to get up to catch our flight). So, nota good place if you have an early morning plane, but it would be a greatplace for a weekend of drinking and eating tapas. We stayed in thedouble room with shower. This literally is a room with a sink andshower. The wc is outside.

"Rufus" was very nice- another guy that ran the front desk was not. "Rufus" was his nickname (not sure what his real name is)...he checked in with us whenever we crossed paths, very friendly and hospitable. Room is decent, but very close to everything. During the day the street it's on looks vacant, but at night it lights up and there are discotecas up and down the street. People and taxis line the street and the energy is pretty cool. Nice balcony we had to overlook it all. Shared kitchen if interested. Spacious room with shower and sink in room. The building is an old museum and had an old fashioned elevator! Very cool!
