The hostel was situated is an amazingly central location. My only complaint is that I couldn’t connect to the free WIFI. I could connect to it but not download emails/surf the net and this was my main reason for choosing this hostel so was rather annoyed at this. The staff didn’t speak much English so I didn’t try and communicate this and instead had to go to an Internet cafe.

It is really really really close to the center of the city. 3-4 minutes walk to Gran Via and 10 minutes to Puerta del Sol and Calle Mayor. The guys at the Reception were very healpful in providing info about the city and in providing an extra blanket as it was a little bit cold in the room (14th of November and the heating in Madrid starts from the 15th :) ).

The decor and uniqueness of the room - little touches that make a big difference. Helpful staff. I can recommend this hotel to everyone. I can say it was the best hostel I ever slept in Madrid.
