The Hotel was located close to the IE Business School in Madrid where my son was enrolling. It is also located in the Salamanca district of the city where there is a high concentration of high end shops and a good selection of restaurants. There are several access points to the city subway system within 10 minutes walk from the hotel in addition to a number of city bus stops. Public transportation in Madrid was excellent. The hotel price in August when most of the city is on vacation and many businesses are shut down was reasonable and the service was very good. I actually extended my stay at.

The triple room we were in was spacious and had a small kitchenettewhich was very handy as I was traveling with my son, daughter in law andtheir new baby. The hotel also had a infant bed waiting for us in theroom. We choose the hotel because not only was it a couple blocks fromthe us embassy where we had business, but it was one of the fewreasonably price places we could find with a triple room. The third bedwas a pullout sofa which was ok but I wouldn’t want to sleep on it formore than a night or two. Would be better for a child. The airconditioning worked well and the bathroom was clean.

Location is basically on the nicest shopping street in Madrid, size of rooms was good, a lot of cupboard space (almost a negative), it wasn’t very busy in the hotel and mini bar price wasn’t as expensive as most.
