We found the situation of the hotel n Playa Blanca ideal with easy walks to the resort centre and to the marina. We had booked a double room and were in fact allocated a beautiful suite with separate relaxing area and double balcony at no extra cost on our half board basis, so we felt we got excellent value for money although the rear view was not as pleasant as that over the pool/garden area. The hotel was deemed full but we found no problems with this and were always seated for our meals within a few minutes of arriving at the restaurant. Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable week’s stay.

The location of hotel is excellent,very nice pool area. This is our third time stayin at a H10 hotel and the choice of food is always excellent. We met a couple on our second day and it was thier seventh consecutive year holidaying in the hotel. We had a lovely refurbished room with pool view,very comfortable.

As long as you get a newly refurbished room, which we did this is a great hotel and specially for the price we paid!! Food delicious!! If you want real luxury you’re not going to find it here but for an average 4* hotel we had no complaints! Great location!!.

The location of hotel is excellent,very nice pool area. This is our third time stayin at a H10 hotel and the choice of food is always excellent. As long as you get a newly refurbished room, which we did this is a great hotel and specially for the price we paid!! Food delicious!! If you want real luxury you’re not going to find it here but for an average 4* hotel we had no complaints! Great location!!.

The layout of the hotel is excellent with its enormous grounds and three swimming pools. We particularly liked the look of the hotel and the bar / restaurant in the pool area. The location of the hotel is good with four or five bars & restaurants within a five minute walk. We found Reception staff very pleasant and welcoming.

Outstanding hotel. Many things to do in this hotel. Lovely grounds. Nice walk along the promenade, only about 15 min to Playa Blanca centre.

Staff in the hotel was very kind, room was clean, breakfast and dinner were great! I can recommend to stay in this hotel. It is good idea to pay for dinner (6 EUR/day only).

Everything was perfect! Staff was very polite and helpful, the rooms and the other premises were clean,the hotel is quiet. The food was excellent. I do not understand the previous comments about the food because there is nothing to complain about. We are seriously considering staying in this hotel for the next holiday.

Myself and my boyfriend just got back from a week in Lanzarote and we stayed in Arena Dorada. We paid €220 for an apartment and we thought it was amazing value for money. I would def recommend payin the extra few euro for the apartment istead of the studio because it is huge. The apartments are basic but they have everything you need and they were cleaned every second day by the cleaners. I cant say enough about these apartments the location is perfect in the middle of everything and 2 mins from the beac.

The apartments were located perfectly near the boulevard of Puerto del Carmen. The people at the reception were very helpful in arranging our taxi for the flight back home. Furthermore, we liked the possibility of a very early wake-up call. Very friendly, comfortable and nice stay!.

The apartments were located perfectly near the boulevard of Puerto del Carmen. The people at the reception were very helpful in arranging our taxi for the flight back home. Furthermore, we liked the possibility of a very early wake-up call. Very friendly, comfortable and nice stay!.

Nice budget hotel- it porovides really huge living space, each apartment consists of large lounge with semi-open kitchenette, good sized bedroom with twin beds and a terrace with a table. The personal was friendly and helpful. 5 min walk to small beach, however we used the central beach (10 min walk) with much better sand, water access and our favorite restaurant Bachius just in front of this beach, which offers local food to die for (tapas just like heaven) with lower prices at the same time. Nice place to stay if you love Canary Islands charm.

We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The apartments offer great value for money and are in an excellent location for exploring Lanzarote.

When my partner and I arrived we were instantly upgraded to a larger apartment at no extra charge. The apartment balcony was pool facing and had sun all day. We only went for a mini break from stressful working lives and these apartments were fab. The postion if the apartments is on the door step of all the shops and promenade.

The one thing that lets the place down is the poolside bar, it does not bring an atmosphere to the pool side as it is in cornerd area and blocked off. Its just not inviting looking! Would certainly recommend these apartments to anyone travelling to lanzarot.

Superior apartments in excellent condition, good location across from beach and promenade, Aquarsis Wellness Centre Thermal Circuit just €7 for guests and was unbelievable - jets of powerful massaging water, hot and cold as you work your way through the various stages, and this was without booking a special treatment which we didnt book in time and was quite reasonable. Excellent option at end of day to really refresh or if you had a cloudy morning. Supermarket underneath has all the basics, plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs around. Probably most relaxing holiday we’ve had in Lanzarote al.

This is our second year in a row staying in the hotel. The apartments location is brilliant a short walk to everything. The one thing that lets the place down is the poolside bar, it does not bring an atmosphere to the pool side as it is in cornerd area and blocked off. Its just not inviting looking! Customer service was excellent from all staff from reception to the dining room. Carlos on reception was really efficient and nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay and everything was positive about our experience. The view we had was brilliant and to be able to lie in bed and listen to the sea was very relaxing. Will be returning as soon as we can.

Previous reviews on Booking.com and elsewhere have pointed out the tireddecor, worn carpets in public areas and poor standard of rooms. I almostcancelled this booking and went elsewhere. Im glad I didnt. Yes thedecor is fading and the carpets in public areas are worn somewhat butour room was clean and comfortable. The shower did not work the firstnight but was repaired without delay the following morning. I wouldsuggest that this is not a 4 star hotel in the condition it is, more 3but I would recommend it to anyone. The general facilities are verygood, excellent location and the staff very polite and helpful.

Customer service was excellent from all staff from reception to the dining room. Carlos on reception was really efficient and nothing was too much trouble. The studios and apartments offer a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer (with the exception of one bedroom junior apartments which have partial kitchen facilities). ,Sands Beach Resort is a superb holiday destination with beach front and plaza apartments.

We stayed in Sands Beach for 2 weeks from 31st August, 2011 with our 3year old. I could not recommend these apartments more. Our ground floorapartment was perfect with our 3 year old as it led straight out ontothe pool. As each apartment block had their own pool, there was never aproblem with sunbeds. The cleaning staff were excellent, room wascleaned daily with fresh linen, towels. Cleaning staff along with therest of the hotel staff were really friendly. On the second week of ourstay our daughter attended Buddys Club, the entertainment staff wereexcellent with her and she really loved it. Entertainment in theevenings was also quite good. Apartments are right next to the beachaswell which was great and only a ten minute walk to alot ofrestaurants. I found all the staff from the bar staff to themaintentance staff all really friendly and helpful. The hotel wasconstantly being painted and updated. I would definitely return again.

The apartment was big but the terrace was small. The apartment was along walk from reception but we did make use of a service road nearby ifwe were back before 10pm to park with a disability badge. Mostly weparked near front door of hotel which nearly always had disabilityspaces available at any time of day. The ceiling fans were helpful butair-con would have been so much better. We enjoyed having tv but therewasn't enough English speaking stations. The supermarket in theapartment complex had good stock, if a bit expensive, but always ran outof the lovely local bread loaves very early. We had to go further forthe bread a few mornings.

It was romantic and very relaxing.just a short stroll 2 all the shopsand restaurants.the atmosphere at the sands was so peaceful.a beautifulplace for all E.g young,old or families.there is nothing that the staffwon't do to make your stay more enjoyable.the airport was only a 15/20min journey by taxi and only cost €24.I will definitely be going backwith my kids next summer and make it our regular holiday destination.

Location of the bungalows was very near to the airport which meant nottravelling for too long after the plane journey and also not veryexpensive in the taxi 10euros. The beach was only a 5 minute walk away. The bungalow itself was very comfortable and clean but the maids were abit slap dash and only cleaned to where the eye could see. One dip ofthe mop in the bucket did all the apartment! Kitchen was also suppliedwith all kitchen appliances.

Good location close to seafront and local shops. The perfect place for a quiet relaxing holiday. Close to airport (less than €10 for Taxi). Very nice clean pool complete with hydr.
