This was my 4th stay at the Hotel Torre Del Conde. I like the hotel verymuch. It is located right in the centre of the beautiful town of SanSebastian de la Gomera and some of the rooms, like the one I was given,have lovely views to the tower in a nice park. The roof terrace iswonderful and is definitely worth investigating. I found the staff allvery friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Located walking distance between both the ferry terminal and the busstation, so ideal for us arriving from Tenerife in the evening and goingon to Valle Gran Rey the next morning. Staff really friendly. Roomenormous, very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, tv and sun terrace.Breakfast good for this part of the world - normal Spanish breakfastbuffet (bread, toast, jam, croissants, coffee, etc) but also cereal, ham& cheese for the Germans/Brits. Next time would spend more time in SanSebastian and definitely stay there again.

Hotel was very comfortable.We did not like damp sheets being changed on to the beds in our room twice out of 4 nights.Staff in the dining room could be a bit more friendly and smile.Meals were reasonable,we ate in the dining room twice and on our 25th Anniversary the meal was far too salty to eat,we made the comment to the waitor with now results,a Special evening ruined.Beautiful Gardens and views.

The hotel's location on top of a high cliff overlooking San Sebastian deLa Gomera is outstanding. Each room has its own terrace or balconytowards the lush and exotic hotel gardens on the cliff top, which areoverlooking the sea, the harbour and the town of San Sebastian, andinclude the nice hotel swimming pool. The rooms are big and nicelydecorated in a historical style. Beatiful dining room (also used forbreakfast) with big windows/glass doors towards the gardens. Goodlocation to set off for day trips and hiking tours across all of theisland of La Gomera (max. Driving distance is around 90 minutes toremote places on the west coast). Free parking in front of the hotel. 5minutes walking distance down from the cliff top to the town centre withmany bars and restaurants.

First up, if you are arriving by car be warned, there is only one way upthe hill from San Sebastian to the Parador, and the centre of SanSebastian is a maze of one way or pedestrian streets, so assuming thedirections from booking.com are correct you'd be very wise to print themout beforehand. If you are walking and have a lot of luggage take ataxi, it is quite a steep hill. It's a gorgeous hotel on a bluffoverlooking the sea, port and town of San Sebastian, beautifulatmosphere, gardens with many exotic plants and a big nice pool area,with many lounges, bars and other areas to hang out in, you can spendthe whole day there, it's very relaxing. We booked a room withoutbreakfast, it's 17 Euros per head and it is very good (we did it once),but you can have a nice brunch in town for less than that, so I washappy we could book the room without and then decide on the day. Dinneris also very good, but again, not the cheapest option in town...

I loved my stay at Hotel Rural Tamahuche in Vallehermoso!! I think that the views up the beautiful valley to the mountains from the hotel are absolutely incredible. I felt so relaxed during my stay and that was helped by my comfortable room being very clean and quiet. Breakfast included some tasty dried ham and smoked cheese and was very generous as well. The free parking across the road was great. I really appreciated that as a solo traveller there was a significant reduction in price for a twin room compared with two people staying. Thank you for the welcome and the priceless memories Jordi and Maria: I cannot wait until my next stay at your wonderful rural hotel!!

There was a very warm rapport with the management and staff who werehappy to see us and eager to please. They are extremely helpful andinformative and an endless source of "local knowledge". The room wasvery clean and comfortable. It was quiet at night until the village wokeup between 7 and 8 am. The food was local, fresh and delicious. This isa small hotel so the menus were limited but they were adapted to suitour likes and dislikes.

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and were delighted with the quality ofthe place and the helpfulness and friendliness of the family running thehotel. As well as serving an excellent breakfast, they enthusiasticallytold us about places to visit, places to eat and walks to take all overLa Gomera. A "trust" bar meant refreshments were always available,though tea making in addition to coffee, soft drinks and alcohol wouldhave enhanced the service. We were delighted with our terrace and viewbut not all rooms have an external view, we think.

This hotel is a gem. It's right in the centre of the town, next to thechurch (the bells don't ring between 10pm and 8am). It's a traditionallystyled building with a central courtyard so the bedrooms are on eitherside of the building. We booked a room with a view and had one of thetwo rooms at the front on the second floor, which have private terraces.There's a shared terrace between them for general use. The back of thebuilding is hard up against the hillside so the pool and pool terrace,which are accessed from the third floor, behind the lift, are actuallyon the hillside - although it's hard to tell where the building ends andthe ground begins. It's all been very cleverly and sympathetically doneto maintain the character of the original building and was opened onlythis year (2011), as a ceremonial plaque testifies. On the first floorthere's a large lounge and an open courtyard, with an honesty bar. Theselection for breakfast was adequate, well presented and of very highquality - I lo

The warm welcome and efficient service from the staff plus a very well equipped, attractive and comfortable apartment in a locality ideally situated for either beach or walking in the countryside of La Gomera. I will be back and recommending Bellavista to my friends.

This was our sixth annual visit to Bellavista Apts. The rooms are spacious and clean and have everything required for a self catering holiday. The free access to the laundry is a bonus when staying for more than a week. We are already looking forward to our trip in 2012.

The apartments are very well located near the beautiful coast line, with view on the 'baby pool'. We had the front line appartment on the fourth level with an awesome view from our huge terrace. Idem dito for the swimming pool. Free internet in the reception. The equipment in the appartment is OK.
