Beautiful setting in the mountains but right next to the little town of Benahavis.Really lovely old Spanish atmosphere, the smell of jasmine and the little sparrows in the courtyard where breakfast is served is perfect. The breakfasts are delicious as are the simple lunches at the poolside bar.Our room was pretty big and cleaned immaculately everyday. The staff were all spanish and very friendly. It was great to stroll into the town (the steps were good exercise!) in the evening where the choice of very good restaurants was fantastic. Would reccommend "Amigos", "La Cocina" and "Amenahavis" I really loved this hotel , my idea of heaven.

Great location just 20 km from Costa del Sol, in a very calm & relaxingmountain region (off the coast rush & stress). Ideal for having a breakfar from the city, with free spa sessions, great pools & magnificentviews over the village & mountains around. Very good value for money(double room - upgraded to junior suite I think- for less than 90€/night- with balcony on the Alhambra-style patio & palm gardens with multi-pools area), pretty calm and quiet (early June), great full breakfastincluded. On place restaurant (pool bar also) with reasonable prices. Onthe whole, great nice surprise compared to the tourist industry of Costadel Sol, noisy and ugly (avoid in any case).

The hotel is typically Spanish and set in a fantastic location withinwalking distance of the village of Benahavis and 10 minutes drive fromthe coast and beaches. The hotel represents good value for money (LateSept-Oct) and is comfortable and clean and the staff were very pleasantand helpful during our stay.We booked the suite for 5 nights and couldnot believe the space we had.... 2 double rooms / lounge/ bathroom andpation with sun loungers. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and the hotelwas a lovely bolt hole away from the tourist melee of Banus. The villagewas a very plesant place to spend a relaxing evening or sunday morning, with an excellent choice of restaurants/ Bars. We are already planningour next trip back.
