Location is across the river from the walled city and, if you have a room at the front as we did, the view is spectacular. We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and returned because of the view. Modern bathroom with shower was fine. Hotel lobby and hallways nicely decorated and very pleasant.

That is a very good hotel. Staff is very nice. The hotel is closest tothe center (10 min walking). I would recommend this hotel.

New hotel very stylishly furnished. Bathroom layout unusual but very well-equipped-spacious shower. Good view of the city walls.

A superb hotel that exceeded our expectations, lovely room, big comfortable bed, everything perfect from decor to bathroom. The hotel is in the centre of the historic walled town, parking could be a problem within the town walls but you can drop your bags off. Follow the signs to the catherderal to find the hotel it is in the same plaza.

A superb hotel that exceeded our expectations, lovely room, big comfortable bed, everything perfect from decor to bathroom. We love the location of the hotel most of all. It’s a cozy, comfortalble historic building facing Avila’s cathedral! What else could you hope for. The room is clean and has all the facilities of a modern hotel. It was easy to find a parking spot very close to the hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed at the hotel which is in an ideal location for visiting Avila, being located just inside the town walls and right next to the cathedral - with all the town’s attractions within easy walking distance. The Tourist Information Office is very close with access to the town walls inside.

The location is brilliant, the staff is very kind and polite. The room was fantastic, lovely "old fashion" hotel with a lot of charm, they've kept it with personality instead of the new hotels you can find everywhere. Right by the cathedral, shops, bars and restaurants. Really lovely.

All aspects of the Parador de Avila were superb. An Internet computer was available near the reception (free use) and a free WiFi within the hotel. The hotel is a very well converted Palace decorated in a traditional style to a very high quality. Highly recommended for L80 per night!.

Accommodating, efficient, professional staff at the front desk. Breakfast buffet was good; well balanced food selection. Easywalking into the main city square. If coming into the city by train,short taxi ride to the hotel, for the fitter travellers, could walk tothe hotel.

The location of the hotel was right inside the gate and very convenientto the historic part of town. At70 euros, it was a great hotel for the price. Nice outdoor seating for adrink and tapas too. Staff was very helpful.

All aspects of the Parador de Avila were superb. An Internet computer was available near the reception (free use) and a free WiFi within the hotel. The hotel is a very well converted Palace decorated in a traditional style to a very high quality. Highly recommended for L80 per night!.

Superb hotel in the heart of Avila. We had previously stayed at a 4 star hotel and this was comparable. We got this hotel for an excellent price. I would recommend it as a base in the heart of Avila.

Lovely, clean room with lots of character on a very quiet square and ina great location in the old city of Avila. Not easy to find, but noplace is inside the walls of Avila. The taxi driver had no problem. Thebreakfast was extra, but a real bargain by Spanish standards.
