Perfect location in the charming old city of Arcos de la Frontera. Driving into the city was fun and the staff at the hotel helped us find a close parking lot. It was a perfect place to sip wine and relax. If you are a traveler that shuns American style hotels, this is the place for you.
Tessa  — 28.6.2011
Reception staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. Decor of room was very nice and view from room was amazing. Location of hotel is right in the centre of the old town so once you have managed to park your car you can leave it and walk everywhere. Continental breakfast was fine and could have been taken out on the terrace overlooking the fantastic views of the valley below (the weather was too cool for us to do that).

Everything was excellent! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly,The setting was charming, and the views from the hotel were breathtaking. You can have breakfast on the terrace, which was delicious, reasonably priced and picturesque. We stayed in five hotels during this trip and this was by far our favorite. No wonder Rick Steve has his personal room here!.

It is hard to describe this property with words unless you are a poet! This is the most beautifully located hotel that I have ever seen. The staff at this hotel was wonderful. The accomodations are located in a historic section/building in the town near to all recommended tourist sights. The owners of this establishment are very attentive to detail, friendly and multilingual. They personally greet their guests, offering suggestions for dining and some information regarding history and important landmarks. The three rooms available for guests are located on the top floor of the building with a shared patio that has some of the best views of the town- a great place to enjoy a simple home made lunch or a beer purchased at the nearby market. The room we stayed in was comfortable and a great retreat from sight seeing. This hotel is a good value as well.
Linda  — 27.11.2011
Casa Campana sits high in the old village of Arcos de la Frontera. Therooms are wonderfully simple, beautiful and quiet facing onto a privatepatio perfect for relaxing or sunning. I spent many hours on the rooftopwatching the light change over the old city and the valley below. Jimand Emma are gracious and generous hosts and their Casa has a specialmagic about it. Be sure and ask about the self-guided tour of Arcos.
Hanna  — 24.2.2012
Casa Campana is situated in the middle of the ancient centre of the idyllic village of Arcos de la Frontera, which is perfect to enjoy some peace and quiet for a few days. The rooms are simple but very beautiful and romantic, and the patio is excellent to enjoy the sun and a refreshing breeze. On top of that, the terras gives you an amazing view on the surrounding lake and country side.

Lovely hotel in historic building in a fantastic location. Getting to the top of the hill could be tricky if you've got a big car though, but the narrow streets are part of the charm of this lovely old town. Really stunning views. Stylishly decorated rooms, very helpful staff, good food - we ate dinner in the patio which was very pleasant. Well worth the climb to the top!

Casa Suena is a beautiful house with amazing views. Run by a lovelyDutch couple who were really friendly and informative - gave usrecommendations for restaurants, and a printed walk around town. Theroom was smart & modern. There was a communal kitchen/sitting room withtea & coffee making facilities, also a fridge stocked with beers & wineavailable at a very reasonable rate. We were sent instructions of whereto park car & told some streets very narrow. I would just emphasise that& suggest that unless you are a very confidant driver you use theparking outside town as suggested.

Everything about the place was positive. The owner contacted us shortly after booking with full details and instructions on the B&B. The rooms were comfortable, clean and lovely. The top room has amazing views of the surrounding area. The breakfast provided was delicious. Kudos to Uko for the freshly made croissants. The B&B is in a residential area of Arcos so we felt local but the main sites were with an easy walking distance. I would definitely not recommend driving a car into this part of the old town however but the instructions listed easy parking options.

Casa El Sueño is a true Gem in Arcos and one of our most favorite B&B'swe've experienced to date. Set in a traditional white village building, this 5 room b&b is clean with modern furnishings and completelycomfortable. Wifi signal was good and breakfast was fresh and filling.Uko and Lieve where fantastic hosts and more than willing to help orientyou to any Arcos activities you feel like exploring. We are lookingforward to a trip back some day in the near future. Dank u wel Uko andLieve for a great experience!
