We booked just one night here before driving to Malaga Airport. Hotel is very well located for main roads, but quiet and close to Antequerra, the dolmenes and El Torcal. Our room was a good size, clean and comfortable; probably one of the more comfortable beds of our holiday. Food in the restaurant very Spanish, with a reasonable selection and reasonably priced. There is plenty of free parking. Most staff did not speak good English, but were very helpful. We managed communication with our little Spanish and their little English. We had been to Antequerra before, but just for a day. El Torcal and the surrounding countryside are stunning. The dolmenes are very close to the hotel and well worth a visit. Entrance is free, and the visitors' centre has an interesting presentation in English to explain their development. You can actually go inside the dolmenes, which I hadn't experienced before and is not usually possible in England. Their construction is amazing. For a short stay, and exp

Rooms were very well maintained and we had a brilliant view of the Amores hill, stunning early in morning and at dusk. Air con was a must for us and worked 100% Staff were excellent especialy reception and the bearded gentleman who served in the bar and restaurant. I do not understand some comments regarding road noise as we did not find any problems inside the hotel or outside on the terrace. This hotel is excellent value for the price and I recommend anyone to try it. Phil L

The hotel is very pleasant, the staff friendly and the rooms verycomfortable. There is adequate parking inside the hotel grounds. Therunning of the restaurant was a bit chaotic, it was due to open at8.00pm but by 8.15pm was still in darkness. When we asked thereceptionist said "I'll put the lights on now". It was worth the delayas the restaurant food was very good.
