The hotel was fantastic clean and friendly.We had a view looking overthe beach.It was a 2 min walk to the beach not a place to go if you arelooking for a family pool but the beach made up for it. The rooms wereso clean and if you forgot your toiltries they had everything there fromtoothbrushes to sewing kit and even a shoe shiner in the room.Woulddefinately recomend this hotel.Breakfast was to suit everyone as therewas a lot of choice and you sat overlooking the sea fantastic.they evenhad a little play area for the children.Cant praise this hotel enoughwill def be staying there again

I suppose the veiw, I always booked this particular hotel when in Alicante just because I love the view at the junior suites, and especially the 'big-shower'(which I didn't have in my hotel room this time, it was a bit disappointing). Also my rooms always had comfortable beds and enough space for comfort.

Hotel is mixed business and tourists. Pictures on website with regard to breakfast place are overoptimistic, in fact it is inside and overcrowded. Food is OK but no relaxed atmosphere.. Hotel nicely situated with city centre, harbour and beach in walking distance. However better beaches up North and south of Alicante (train/car). Restaurant employees OK, reception staff not too service minded.

It was a nice hotel on the Rambla, the main, lively street in theseaside part of Alicante. The hotelstaff was also nice and ready to help. Breakfasts are not included inthe price and we didn’t try them but we enjoyed our morning coffee incafes close to the hotel. For young travellers.

The staff were extremely nice, helpful and very friendly. of course not, youchose to holiday in Spain!! My suggestion to these people in futurewould be to either learn Spanish and not expect the world to speakEnglish, get a life and actually go out of the hotel, or quite simply goon holiday to Brighton if you want to watch silly British soap operas! Abrilliant hotel, great location and excellent va.

The hotel was nicely situated near to shops and beach, marina. and for those traveling to and from the airport the airport bus stop outside hotel on arrival and opposite hotel for departure. The rooms are clean and tidy, bathrooms have been upgraded. all in all this hotel is a must if staying short term 2/3 days.

I stayed at this hotel for a week in sept with my wife and the baby, thehotel is probably the best in alicante, the staff were amazing spokeenglish, very clean and modern hotel, air con, safe deposit box etc etc. The buffet breakfast was great, alot on offer. The hotel is situated ina perfect location, the bust stop, tram and train station also taxistand right outside the hotel, your 10 mins walk from an excellent beachand marina, airport transfer is about 15 mins in a taxi or half anhourin a bus which stops right outside the hotel, we tried all types oftransport and they were exeptionally cle.

Excellent loaction in Alicante city centre, close to "fort" and beach,but not on beach. Good mix of tourist andbusiness people in hotel. Hotel very clean and comfortable, quietdespite city street outside. Room was a good size and very clean; nice large bathtowels! Comfortable hotel when one goes from under 15c to over 30c withno time to aclimatise.

Location of the hotel was great, just a short walk from main shoppingarea and to the beach. The hotel staff very pleasant andhelpful,everywhere in the hotel was very clean,my room was reallycomfortable,that includes the bed. Would definitely recommend theEurostar Lucentum to anyone going to Alicante. I Hope to stay thereagain soon!!.

This is my 2nd consecutive visit to the Hotel, and I continue to be very impressed in all areas of the hotels facilities, cleanliness and above all the friendliness of all the staff. Special mention to "Cleapatra" (can’t remember her real name) on the front desk, and Ajo, the brilliant maid who looks after the 8th floor. both of these are a real credit to the Hotel. I would thoroughly recommend the AC Alicante to anyone who doesn’t mind a 10 minute walk to the main beach (good excersise) the pool is great, the gym, steam room and spa are great, and of course the free mini-bar is a nice touch.

Fantastic Hotel! Facilities were second to none. Only a ten minute walkfrom the main area (beach, Marina, restaurants, bars etc) and anincredibly picturesque walk at that. Free access to the spa and gym. The rooftop pool area is small and there aren’t many sun loungers soyou need to be up early to get one! Nightlife in Alicante city is quitemellow so if you’re looking for a relaxing holiday I’d definatelyrecommend Hotel ac Alicante!.

This is my 2nd consecutive visit to the Hotel, and I continue to be very impressed in all areas of the hotels facilities, cleanliness and above all the friendliness of all the staff. Hotel location perfect! View from hotel window (room 208) is absolutelystunning, you need to see it to believe it! The Hotel room clean andcomfortable, the bed mattress very firm, fantastic! All the female staffon reception were excellent, very cheerful and eager to help. Hotel is very close toclean beach and stunning marina. there are literally hundreds of restaurants, cafe and ice-cream bars, starting right from the hotel doors.

Hotel set in a lovely little courtyard, very picturesque from the outside & our room had an amazing view of both the courtyard & the Santa Barbara castle which looks really pretty when its lit up at night. Small gym & sauna in the hotel, & lovely rooftop terrace. Great location for everything - 2 minute walk to the beach & main promenade, but hotel set back enough for it to be peaceful at night. Would reco.

This was a perfectly located hotel, for acess to the beach, shops and restaurants. It does not compare to an Irish four star however, it was perfectly clean and quite by night despite its central location. The staff were friendly and very helpful, however the adjoining cafe, which I think might belonged to the hotel had the opposite, not friendly staff and no attempt was made to even communicate due to the language barrier. All in all however I would return to the hotel.

The actual apartment was lovely. We were assigned a 3 bedroom apartment,eventhough we were just a couple. The furniture and fittings were of ahigh standard, the blinds were electric and the apartment was veryspacious. There were two largish swimming pools surrounded by neatgardens. The restaurant, although basic, served a good range of food andthe house wine was good. Our waiter was excellent - really welcoming andfriendly. A car is definitely essential, as the complex is about 10minutes drive from the shops in Alicante. There was ample parking. Wearrived well before our 4 o'clock check-in time, and we very pleased tobe allowed to check-in at just after 1 o'clock.

The apartement was very nice and big,but the kitchen we really thought needed more tools pots and pans,and you could not even make a cup of coffee . The restaurant was ok to the price,but you could have more interesting wines on the list,they were not wery good . Otherwise a very nice golf corse,and i could walk the dog behind the hotel in tke hills . Close to Alicante , and the airport,so we will be back again . Kirsten Hesseldal .

Very nice, very clean hotel just a few minutes from the Alicante Airport. Practical last night stay when an early night. For some reason, we got a three-bedroom suite for 70 e! Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Nice pool areas. We are coming back to play the nice looking golf course :)

I liked the location of the hotel. It was within easy walking distance of El Cortes Ingles and many good bars and restaurants. The hotel was well managed and although small it was well designed and comfortable. The mainline railway station was across the road.

La City is a clean and modern hotel, situated by the railway station. The staff are friendly. The continental breakfast was very enjoyable. The postion of the hotel is ideal for exploring Alicante.

I have used this hotel several times. When I arrived the hotel did not have my booking. The location is brilliant for the railway station and main shopping areas. The bus from the airport is excellent, leaving a short but pleasant walk to the hotel.

The receptionist was very welcoming and unasked upgraded our doubleroomto a mini suite. The 12 euro car park is well worth while if arriving bycar in Alicante,as street parking is non -existent. Very well run hote,2minutes from the beach and central Alicante.

Location of the hotel is great for people without car. All the bus stops including the bus from airport and the stop of tranvia are 2 minutes walk from hotel. Hotel situated in the center of the city close to all monuments. A clean and nice beach "Postiguet" (good for little children swimming) is in front of the hotel - 3 minutes walking.

Stayed at this hotel several times. People have complained about the noise late at night when I was looking at reviews of this hotel. It was only on a weekend but it didn’t wake me up. If you are an early riser on a weekend I suggest that you request a room on the side or rear rather than the front of the hotel as there is a late night club opposite the hotel.

This was a perfectly located hotel, for acess to the beach, shops and restaurants. It does not compare to an Irish four star however, it was perfectly clean and quite by night despite its central location. The staff were friendly and very helpful, however the adjoining cafe, which I think might belonged to the hotel had the opposite, not friendly staff and no attempt was made to even communicate due to the language barrier. All in all however I would return to the hotel.

Hotel set in a lovely little courtyard, very picturesque from the outside & our room had an amazing view of both the courtyard & the Santa Barbara castle which looks really pretty when its lit up at night. Small gym & sauna in the hotel, & lovely rooftop terrace. Great location for everything - 2 minute walk to the beach & main promenade, but hotel set back enough for it to be peaceful at night. Would reco.

Hotel location perfect! View from hotel window (room 208) is absolutelystunning, you need to see it to believe it! The Hotel room clean andcomfortable, the bed mattress very firm, fantastic! All the female staffon reception were excellent, very cheerful and eager to help. Hotel is very close toclean beach and stunning marina. there are literally hundreds of restaurants, cafe and ice-cream bars, starting right from the hotel doors.
