Next to bus station and opposite to train station, my hotel room was large and luxury bathroom was out of my expectation at the price I has been charged.

The location of the hotel is second to none, at least for us who needs arrived at the adjacent bus terminal and need to depart Algeciras with the using of the Renfe train station. It is close to the city centre as well, about 15 mins walk to Plaza Alta. It was quite comfy to stay too!.

Easy to find, hotel is located just on highway. Easy to pack and for free, there is packing for free before the hotel with sufficient qty of space, at least we found place for our car without troubles. Good restaurant with Menu del dia - tasty food for reasonable price. Internet was ok in the room.

Very good option for ferry transit in Algeciras, with a very goodrestaurant, and only 5 minutes from Port.

The nearest bus stop is just 100 meters away and the train station at 2 km from the hotel. Málaga Airport is located 150 km far from the hotel.

Ac Algeciras was an excellent first evening stopover for us en routefurther south. Unfussy, spotlessly clean, with welcoming and friendlystaff, very very comfortable beds, and a good breakfast selection. Thehotel is similar to places like the Premier Inns in the uk, where youcan generally rely on the cleanliness, comfort and facilities eventhough there might be a certain lack of ’character’. Ac Algeciras did,however, also have some nice design touches.

We visited Gibraltar but found the hotels there to be too expensive - and the hotels in nearby La Linea to be of poor quality. AC Algeciras is just 20 mins away on the other side of the bay (offering a different view of the Rock of Gibraltar). Easy to find, extremely comfortable, free Wifi in the lobby and everything in the minibar is free!.

We have now stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions. Compared to other hotels in the town (at which we have also stayed) in our opinion the AC Algeciras offers by far the best value for money.

Nice and neat Hotel with very friendly and helpfull staff. Any wish you may have they try to fullfill !! Close to the beach, in walking distance, close to the border of Gibraltar, 15 miles aways, comfortable rooms with bath and shower,very need and clean, aircondition and local breakfirst. I would recommend to make sure you book a front room with terasse and sea view, as it makes a huge difference to the street view room without terrasse, and as you pay the same. Street view room: perfect for a short stay to pass by or for a trip to Gibraltar, long stay beach holiday with a terrasse and sea view room.

The room was well decorated, clean, bathroom 'sparkling', airconditioning/heating worked well. Huge private balcony (8m x 3m). Foodwas very good value for money. Adequate storage space. Location wasoverlooking the beach witha a great view of Gibraltar across the bay.You can walk along a beach/coast path to Algeceras which takes about 50minutes. If you want to take a cab to Gibraltar (about 20km) it costsaround eur 25. No doubt you could have taken a bus into Algeciras but wewalked and then took a eur 2.10 bus ride to the Gibraltar frontier

It may have been due to the time of year but it was pretty quiet. I alsowas given a room with a view of Gibraltar-excellent! I found the food atthe hotel restaurant was great, especially the Gazpacho! The gentlemanserver was superb and very attentive and knowledgeable of the food,taking pride in things "Andaluz." (I don't know if he spoke Englishthough as we communicated in Spanish.)

I did not like my stay at this hotel. Breakfast time ( most of the cutleries, plates were dirty & there was no staff available. As for the bed , was not very comfortable , shower not working properly , floor tiles broken ( health & safety ). As for location , good near town.

Old hotel in a very convenient location close to port, bus, train and shops. Electricity short circuited once. My room was clean and had a great view of the port. Staff were very nice and helpful.

The hotel is located in front of Algeciras port where we got the ferry going to Morroco. We used Algeciras as a transit point to Granada from Morocco, and climbed Gibraltar.
