Everything was perfect. A very lovely host. Food very good and consistent. We all felt very looked after and the location was wonderful. Facilities just right for a family with teenage children. We were made to feel very welcome.

The staff was absolutely wonderful; especially Jose who spoke Englishwas very helpful and gave us good tips of where to go and what to see.The food was especially good and very fresh. The hotel had all thefacilities for children of all ages so that the parents could also enjoytheir dinner in the evening.

We were very pleased with our stay at the posada. We needed a place for one night only before going into the Picos de Europa and found this to be the perfect location-close to the Altimira Caves, Santanilla de Mar and Comillas, but not so congested and touristic. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff is very nice.

Nice (traditional) building with friendly and helpful staff (althoughhardly English speaking ...). Basic but adequate breakfast. Wifi wasvery good with strong signal. Although the hotel is not located in theactual village, you only need to walk a few minutes to exploreSantillana del Mar. Unfortunately, we didn't had the opportunity tovisit the Altamira museum though as it is closed on Monday.

This is a delightful typical Cantabrian building with a garden enhanced internally by the accomplished artwork of the most amiable and generous host and is perfectly positioned for visiting old Santillana; being situated on the edge of the 'village green'. The accommodation was spacious, well equipped, spotless, tranquil and very comfortable. Easy parking was a bonus and we are already booked to return!
