Lovely hotel. It was a fantastic experience to beable to stay here and highly recommend it. The hotel staff wereexcellent at recommending where to eat and go. Bela vista on the riveris fantastic - wonderful food, service at a bargain price!.

The hotel is beautifully situated in luxuriant gardens with feature waterfalls from the hotel. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked fine and if it had not I would have asked the hotel to help. Location within the town was very convenient and the restaurants in Tomar inexpensive.

The hotel was extremely nice, we had a large room with a view of the river. The mini bar and hotel bar were reasonably priced but we did not use the restaurant. it is a very short walk into the old part of Tomar which we found to have plenty of bars and cafes and a pleasant square. The Templar connection is everywhere in Tomar and it was good to visit the.

Hotel was simple, but nice. Nothing fancy, but it completely met our expectations and looked so much more interesting than the huge bland hotel nearby. It’s location in a Park on the edge of the historic downtown area of Tomar was excellent.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and has an appealing old monastery look to it. However old style doesnt have to be run down and the hotel would benefit from having some renovation. Carpets are worn out, mattresses are uncomfortable and generally it doesn’t deserve 4 stars other than for its location. It is a good 2/3 star hotel in fab location that would be worth staying in for no more than 60 Euro.

The staff members at this hotel were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The hotel is in a very convenient location for visiting the historic old town and the castle (within easy walking distance to the town, and a longer climb to the castle), and the park surrounding the hotel is very pleasant. The free parking right in front of the hotel is a real plus! The breakfast was served in an attractive dining room with a view of the park, and included fresh squeezed orange juice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
