Very attractive hotel on the edge of the old part of Tavira. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Delightful indoor pool. Underground parking if wanted but free street parking around hotel.

This was a lovely Hotel in a beautiful town. The pool and area arefantastic and were enjoyed by the many children at the hotel. TheChildren did not trouble me or my wife during our stay but they arethere, so if you dont want the noise of them having fun, avoid schoolholiday period. The beach area of the resort is a boat ride away from theold town and the Hotel, but costs only a couple euros return and Thebeach is stunning please dont be put off by this the Hotel and th.

Hotel was everything as described. Lovely holiday, breakfast excellentplenty to choose from, although we did not eat evening meals there,meals only described as fair by other guest. This is quite a busy hotelwith lots of young children in pushchairs around at this time of theyear so if you are looking for a child free zone this may not be foryou. We booked a twin room atthe front of the hotel facing the road as we thought poolside may be toonoisy, no view to speak of but was cool with late sun in the afternoonon the veranda.

I found my week in Tavira Garden very relaxing. It was a 20 minute walkinto Tavira which was ideal as we love walking and exploring differentroutes. Our apartment and the pool area were lovely. The Bistro in TaviraGarden was excellent.

The Hotel was in a central position for walking around Tavira and forcatching the boat to take you to the beaches. We found the Hotel of avery high standard, the room was spacious, very clean and wellmaintained. The breakfast buffet wasn’t bad and the hotel is close to Tavira. So, good location, nice reception. The hotel has potential if the would put some money in to redecorating the rooms.

The hotel was quite excelent for its class (three star) in almost every respect. Breakfast was superb. We did not eat in the hotel in the evening so cannot comment there. I suppose a proper coffee machine in the bar would have been nice though.

The breakfast buffet was very good and the dinner buffet was good value. The staff were pleasant and helpful and a shuttle bus was available to go into Tavira from Tuesday to Saturday even though we did not use it as we had a car. The pool was very nice but quite busy with children as this really appears to be more of a family hotel.

Excellent choice to explore Tavira and the neighbour towns! Goodvalue. Top notch customer care delivered by the very helpful host (Miguel) and his familiy. We´ll definetely return. On the negativeside, just a little tricky to find as there are no signs indicatingthe way to any hotels/hostels in Tavira, but at least that helps yousee the town and interact with the friendly locals as you ask fordirections to the hotel.

The hotel was fantastic. The family run hotel was well managed and staff always available for assistance. I would recommend this hotel to all and have already passed details to family and friends. Tavira is a place that all should see and this is the perfect place to stay.

Being shuttled from/to airport is a terrific service with prices in linewith those of main taxi services. The hotel is conveniently located less than5 minute walk to centre of Tavira. Quiet hotel, very clean spacious andcomfortable room. Great beach on Island of Tavira only15 minutes away by boat.

Very friendly owners and staff in a beautiful setting in the hills around Tavira. The location and the spacious rooms are ideal in order relax for a couple of days. Tavira is a 15-20 min drive away and thus relatively close.

A lovely small hotel in a fantastic location with glorious views. It’sonly 5 miles from Tavira and all its facilities, yet you feel awayfrom everything in the heart of the countryside. Staff are delightful andmake you feel really welcome. This is our second visit and itcertainly won’t be our last.

This "hotel", not really a "hotel", but a marvellous retreat isfantastic. The balnce between isolation and having your comforts isperfect. And the hosts Adriana and Jorge work like beavers to makesure you have everything you need. I treavel all over Portugal andhave stayed in most of the Pousadas and this beats them all for valuefor money.

Very nice little guesthouse in center of Tavira. Close to the ferryto the excellent beach Ilha de Tavira, and lots of local restaurantsaround. Clean and cosy place. There are two rooms with river viewwith shared bath and hallway - excellent for family og peopletravelling together.

Many aspects of this hotel were fantastic. The hospitality was homelyand friendly, the residence was very comfortable, light, traditionallydecorated and air conditioned - a real bonus. The breakfast was ample tosee you through the day and its location was very central, close to alltransport links, beach and restaurant/bars.

My partner and I stayed in this spotlessly clean Residencial recentlyon a short holiday to Tavira. The Portuguese couple that own the placecould not be more hospitable and made our holiday extremely special.The room had a comfortable bed, air conditioning and adequate en suitefacilities. This old farmhouse and buildings which has been converted into individual studio rooms and apartments is fabulous, an oasis on the edge of Tavira. This is not a hotel, it is a B&B with a difference. Dont be put off if you read any negative remarks about quinta do caracol, if you want traditional accommodation, and a base for the area, this fits the bill. 5 because it is.

Beautiful gardens, lovely traditional portugese style accommodation. It is a small hotel and although close to a main road and railway station it is a haven - so relaxing. Margarita and her sister who both run the hotel really helpful and their recommendations for restaurants and beaches were excellent. The self catering facilities mea.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely b&b. They family that runs the place, and their staff, are very kind and helpful. The breakfast each morning is great, you have your own kitchen to make meals if you like, they offer free wifi, town is an easy 10 minute walk away, and Tavira is lovely. This old farmhouse is a hidden gem!.

Friendly staff, nice breakfast, lovely view, peace and quiet. Great place for couples, families and everyone who desires nice break from a hectic life. I spent there very romantic time with my girlfriend. It was excellent choice :).

Nice surroundings we travel to portugal from Gibraltar at least 10 times a year normally we stay in Faro but this year we stayed in a villa and got to know the area well, The area is plesant and the rest of the family love Tavira, The village was nice as we had facilitys for cooking good balcony and were not disturbed for cleaning as you would be in a hotel. We will be in France for a few weeks but will look at staying there again at the end of August this time with our young son as i am sure he will enjoy it there.

We had some problems due to a family sudden illness. Despite having payed in advance, we manage to get a week refund although only staying three nights. The downside was that we know for a fact that they rented the apartment immediatly after we left.

We will be in France for a few weeks but will look at staying there again at the end of August this time with our young son as i am sure he will enjoy it there.

We had some problems due to a family sudden illness. Despite having payed in advance, we manage to get a week refund although only staying three nights. The downside was that we know for a fact that they rented the apartment immediatly after we left.

Excellent restraunt and cafe onsite. Great pool area. Short walk from beachfront. Great location for and R&R holiday.

The design of the one bedroom accomodation (a free upgrade on the studioapartment booked) gave ample space and whilst it was located in themiddle of the complex near the road, it was quiet with a sense ofprivacy. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the centre ofCabanas was only a short walk away. Our apartment was fully airconditioned with a nice kitchen/dining area and private terrace. The h.

Very laid-back, quite old-fashioned holiday village. Accommodation basic but clean, lovely outside are in the two-bed villas including fantastic roof terrace. Location good, stroll or land train down to ferry to beach. Staff mostly friendly and helpful.

The best of the hotel its it’s proximity to a nice beach-village,Cabanas de Tavira. The location, the great nearby beach, nice seaside village with good restaurants.
