We used this hotel for a 1 night stop-over. Simple hotel, but it has small pool & bar area. Staff helpful & room clean. Would suit couple or family on budget holiday.

We used the hotel as a stopover, en-route to our apartment. Ideally placed between Faro & Alvor, so cannot comment on suitability for beach holiday, other than to say it was clean, favourably priced and has a bus service to the beach.

We have two young children stayed by the pool most days but also got the free bus right outside the hotel into town to far to walk. Lots of nice places to eat and things to do. Went to waterpark just down from hotel a lot of money so need spend all day there to make most of your money take own food and drink because thats a lot of money too. Hotel staff are very nice and room was cleaned everyday but not until later on i the day.

From the moment we arrived we were impressed by the light airy feelin the hotel. All of the staff were excellent in their own fields.Their personal appearance was immaculate from the reception, roomcleaning services to the dining room staff. The staff are a greatasset to the hotel. The hotel is in a good location on the beach thebus staion and all that the area has to offer is nearby. We woulddefinitely go back. The only dissapointment was that the sunbeds onthe beach are not available until June. This hotel compares well to ahigher star rating hotel.

The location is perfect for families with young children (ours 7 and 3). The bar staff were more friendly than other staff around the hotel. The exterior of the hotel is a little deceiving as the interior is exceptionally clean and modern if not a little too minimalistic in the lounge area (a few plants and pictures wouldn't go a miss to bring depth and warmth rather than mirrors everywhere). As we caught a glance of other rooms as we were passing through the corridor, we realised our room (414) was more spacious than most on this floor. The breakfast (for a three star hotel) was good and we ate just once in the hotel for our evening meal which was also adequate.For a three star hotel it was excellent value for money and I would definitely recommend it to families with young childen.

We needed a hotel close to Faro airport and a beach for two nights. Dom Jose is located right on the beach, with a promenade inbetween. Surprisingly nice hotel, seems newly renovated. Clean and stylish. Hotel has a small exclusive pool area and a quiet bar overlooking the beach and promenade but cleverly separated from it. Nice breakfast included, and we opted for the buffet dinner as well - which was excellent, especially compared to the price. The price of the room was another thing though. Even if the hotel itself is nice, the town is not in any way. The beach also good, but totally crowded in high season. If you like the typical charter town with family fun, nightlife and all that goes with, this hotel is as good as it gets in these places. If you just want a nice beach vacation with a good selection of restaurants and bars around, there are far better choices in the Algarve region for 1/3 the price.

We liked the Hotel Zodiaco becuse it was a god place to stay. The Hotel is situated quite near to the road, which goes aong the coast, but is is a quiet place, when you are with the pool. The only thing we could say, is that you should change you breakfast a little during the week and a better juice.

Loved the hotel. Very nice, small hotel, with very nice price. Nice pool area were to relax if by the beach is a bit windy. Also good as a HQ to explore the rest of the Algarve as the main roads are nearby.

The price of this hotel (35 euros) was great value for money. There was no noise at night which meant a good nights sleep. Air coditioning in the room was appreciated. The nearest beach is 10 mins walk away and the resort of Quarteira which is 15 mins away has a nice promenade, I felt safe in this area which is populated with locals and tourists.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which had loads of room for the two of us! The location is great - just around the corner from the beach and a nice stroll to the marina. For what we paid these apartments were great value for money. The pool area was lovely too!

A clean comfortable Hotel at a reasonable price. I would like to have been told that the apartment was self catering though, I did email on this,, and got some answers in a telephone call, but you need to check your list of items on the net, as it fails to let people know, that the apartments are self catering.

Hotel reception staff excellent, hotel well situated in a moreresidential area ,pool excellent kids played in it all day,hotel easy tofind well sign posted,great place to stay if your on a tight budget,goodvalue for money , than you to all the staff, google the locaton first(onmaps), supermarket and coffee shops close by..

We had a two bedroom, first row, apartment with a full frontal view ofthe sea. The apartment was excellent although the furnishings were a bitworn. Wonderful spot for a familyvacation by the sea.

The owners were very caring, friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and hotel is only 15mins on foot from quarteira beach and 45mins on foot from Vilamoura marina.

The hotel was very clean but a long way from the town, ( about a 20 to 30 min walk ) were there are lots of shops and bars, at lunch time there was no were to get anything to eat in the hotel so you have to go out.

The Vila Belinha is a delightful and small hotel to stay, with very niceenglish-speaking owners who are willing to help in any way possible. For us it was wellsituated and just what we wanted as we did not wish to be in Quarteirawhich is easily accessible on a 5 minute bus ride. Further,simple and good value meals are available at the poor bar. We woulddefinately go again.

The new parts off the hotel were clean and nice, pool area also ok. friendly staf and a reasonable breakfast. Great location off the hoteland very easy to spot with its red coloured facad.

Loved this hotel felt relaxed and the reception staff were wonderful. Cant wait to go back. The room was lovely and the clean. Breakfast was beautiful.

Its really such a great hotel, everything is just perfect! Hotel staff is friendly and attentive to any of your wish. Room is clean (I believe that the hotel was recently renovated?). Location is perfect, in the center of Quantera, bus terminal is conveniently located in front of the hotel and beach behind. Breakfast buffeet at the hotel is so large that eating there is enough for a whole day.
