Once one arrives, the hotel is welcoming and spacious, with good facilities in a rural setting not far from Faro. The views from the rroms is extensive, rangiong over the splendid countryside forming the backdrop to Faro. Although we did not eat at the hotel, the restaurant in the grounds,a short walk from the main hotel, seemed to provide a varied local menu.

This was the perfect place in what felt like traditional Potugal. There are only 22 rooms and it really felt like a boutique hotel. The staff were very friendly and organised taxis for us to olhao which was lovely. It is the place were all the locals go! If you want relaxation this is definitely the hotel.

It is a very nice hotel situated about 5 minutes by car from Olhao. For us it has been a very pleasant stay, actually we have have repeated the place twice because we like this place very much because of its tranquility and aslo because it is a perfect place (it is close) to all the small cosy villages on the coast of Algarve. The staff on the hotel made us feel at home:) Very helpful and nice.

This is a lovely small guesthouse in a quiet, relaxing seaside town.Olhao is a charming port town which is less touristy than others inthe area. The hostel location is good, in the old part of Olhao,around 10 mins walk from the train station, 1-2 mins to the harbourarea - and its fantastic seafood restaurants - and 5 mins from theferry to the offshore beaches. Rooms were bright, airy and spotless.Management was friendly and helpful. Communal kitchen is fine androoftop terrace is great.

We enjoyed the hotel for different reasons. It s very nicely decorated,the room was exactly as sold on the Internet, the rooftop terrace wasbeautifully relaxing and the hotel was fresh. I am pregnant months anddidnt find any difficult access or misconfort. We could use the modernkitchen, the location was central and it was really nice to walk fromthe hotel through the charming streets of Olhao; but the best wasdifenitly the owner Jeff who was always available, charming, veryattentif to our needs fulll of information and very professional. Itmade our stay even nicer. We were two couples and all enjoyed it a lot.

We stayed in a suite which had both a shower and a toilet. The room was basic but clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop was a great feature. We bought some croissants for breakfast at a nearby bakery and had breakfast at the rooftop. It was also a nice place to watch the sunset. It becomes a social point of the hotel guests. There was a fridge and freezer in the common kitchen as well as a cooking facility. You were able to shop refreshments and food to store in the fridge. The hotel was located a few blocks from the harbor where you can take a 35 minute boat to Culatra and Farol. Great long stretched beaches and it only costs 2 euro each way. We visited in beginning of June (not peak season) and we really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this hotel to someone who is looking for something away from the mainstream and someone who is looking for a more authentic, genuine experience. This is a lovely contemporary hotel within easy reach of Faro airporton the edge of Olhao.It overlooks the Ria Formosa nature reserve andmarina so if you can get a room with a sea view I'd recommend it.Thestaff are well trained and were courteous throughout our stay. TheBuffet breakfast was comprehensive and the pool area well maintainedand clean with plenty of sunbeds and a poolside bar serving goodfood.We didn't eat at the hotel in the evening as there are plenty ofrestaurants along the main road running along the seafront.My partnerbooked a massage which was also very good.Brilliant for a relaxing minibreak-and even at the end of October sunny and warm.Olhao old town verypretty and worth a look.

We got a really good bargain for one week's half board. Rooms were really comfortable & we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a marina view room. Unusually, half board consisted of vouchers for a la carte (rather than buffet) which was a nice change and food was good quality. Very spacious pool area and as hotel was really quiet, we had area to ourselves on several occasions. I used the spa on one occasion - excellent value, half price treatments each day, I reallly enjoyed this treat. Hotel is in Olhao, which is not a typical tourist destination, which suited us fine and plenty of good value seafood resaturants & snack-bars on the doorstep. Weather was a little chilly so didn't get to islands, which I would have liked to - trips can be organised from hotel reception. Actual surrounds of hotel, i.e. village view rooms may be somewhat disappointing though, so delighted to get upgrade. Overall very happy with stay and very thankful to management/staff for kindness.

We have stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks and this was a great place to start our trips and come back to a nice room with good facilities. The gym is extensive so for people who want to stay in shape there are good facilities. The treatments in the spa are very good (also from a price/quality perspective). The location (Olhao) is great if you don't want to stay in the real busy/turistic part of the algarve. You are in front of the beautiful Ria Formosa (nature) area If you have a car during your stay your able to reach the furthest points in the algarve (from Olhao) in max 1,5 hrs. Olhao itself has some nice streets to have a coffee or dinner and a shoping center with a large indoor karting track (tip). You have to be willing to travel to discover the nice Algarve areas. overall the price/quality is very good and the friendly

The location was excellent. Slap bang in the middle of the nightlight ofOldtown and beside all restaurants and shops. The hotel staff were veryfriendly and helpful and if I was to return to Albufeira again this willbe my hotel of choice.

We first stayed at the Hotel about 20 years ago on a Saga organised trip and were very impressed with it. The hotel staff are efficient, unfailingly courteous and very helpful. The hotel’s location, at the heart of everything in the old town of Albufeira, meant that all attractions were readily accessible. We hope to return again, testament to its appeal for us.

Nice basic hotel, helpful staff, enviable central location in the middleof town and a few minutes from the large beach (Pescadores). Breakfastis served on the rooftop terrace near the small but perfectly formedswimming pool. Most shops restaurants and clubs on the doorstep. Atfirst impression Albufeira is an overbuilt holiday resort, but if onewanders a bit off the central path, there are nice areas to explore,with lovely houses and peace and quiet and discoveries like a wonderfulReal Portuguese restaurant called via lactea ,14 Rua Joao de Deus.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a very peaceful stay and found the hotel really good value for money. The pool area was nice although could be a bit busy in the middle of summer. There’s 2 beaches, a local shop and a few restaurants all within 5 minutes walking distance which are all very nice.

The hotel is very nice, has pretty rooms, a friendly design. The staff is helpful and very polite, parking places are located in front of the hotel, only hotel guests are allowed to park there. The Breakfast buffet is big and offers hardly everything for any taste! There are two completely different beaches to visit, just 5 minutes by foot away, the one is beautiful but small, the other one is big, also very nice but more crowded.

Hotel was a good experience-large comfortable room with good air-cond. Older hotel that has been upgraded -still could use a little moremodernization in places(new carpets-wardrobes-gardens improved-plasterwork outside)-room was also very quiet and well insulated(westayed in 114-recommend this room!!)-breakfast buffet was also good-butget their early-as a lot of the better stuff runs out fast!! We liked itso much we will book again!!.

We liked the large spacious apartment with clean crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils for when we wished to self cater. Our apartment was on the quiet side of the hotel facing the pool and with the bus stops outside the hotel, the transport (buses and taxes) -buses not so good on a Sunday - were excellent for getting about the Algarve and we made trips into Albufeira and Villamoura.

A lovely hotel in an ideal location. Just a short walk down a (verysteep) hill to the beach where there are also a few bars andrestaurants. Really nice clean hotel in a really nice town. Woulddefinitely return.

Staffs are very helpful and communicative. The hotel has good parking place. During booking, I requestedto provide me an upper floor apartment, and they kept their promise. Sea beach,supermarket and other shops are also few minutes walk from the hotel. The apartment has self catering service with kitchenware, microwaveoven, kettle, toaster, electric hob and o.
