The most relaxing place to spend a holiday. The setting is beautiful and very green. The hotel was full when we stayed and yet it was very quiet with sunbeds or beanbags always available by the pool. The staff were frindly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was good. Free yoga sessions, aqua aerobics, walking, gym sessions are some of the things the hotel offers. We will be booking again.

The location of this hotel cannot be beaten. The surroundings arestunning and very peaceful. The spa treatments were brilliant althoughthe spa areas themselves, could do with a coat of fresh paint and aclean.( Certainly not the best spa we've been to. ) The little bar inthe square is a favourite. A must in winter with its log fire, and inthe mornings with the lady outside baking in a typical bread oven.

It's a gorgeous setting, with lovely places to walk right outside the door. The combination of eucalyptus and pine trees gives the whole place a wonderful smell. The restaurant was right outside our window, had decent food, and there were also a lot of piri piri places up the hill close by. Parking is easy, and you can get to the beach in half an hour. The views from nearby Monchique are amazing. Our room was comfortable, and the place was generally very relaxing. We found the spa facilities to be clean and pleasant, a nice combination over all.
