We were given a fabulous room with a huge balcony overlooking the river which really made our stay. We would also like to commend the really friendly hotel manager for all his help and courtesy during our stay. Highly recommended.

The location was great for those looking for tranquility in a rural setting. The hotel was well-furnished and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Spotlessly clean hotel with magnificent views across the river. There is lots of free parking either in hotel carpark, on street or carpark 50m away. There is lots to do in Mertola, the old town with it’s long history is fascinating and the museums although small are very good. There are also some good country walks, we easily filled 2 days without driving into the National Park.
