Every aspect of our stay was wonderful. The Cisterna was very well appointed, had every comfort and more. Ana, our host, was very helpful, our evening trip to the Rock Art with her was the highlight of our stay. We ate fantastic home cooked, local traditional food on both evenings. we appreciated the attention detail given to everything. Very highly recommended.

The Casa da Cisterna is a gem! The owners pay very close attention todetail--from the design and decoration of the rooms to the deliciousbreakfast. We highly recommend staying here and visiting CasteloRodrigo. The town itself is tiny, but very pretty and well restored witha castle at the top of a hill surrounded by almond and fig trees--we hadno idea that the location and the Casa da Cisterna would be so nice!Thanks for a great stay and hope to return soon.
