The staff were extremely pleasant and helpfull the hotel is in anexcellent location in Funchal. Everything was clean and tidy,i woulddefinately use this hotel again.

Wonderful experience. The hotel is great. The outside pool was very nice and quite, but the spa is a great plus tothis hotel. Breakfast is varied and tastie as it should be.

Superb classic 70’s design ’Casino’ complex with all facilities expected of luxury hotel serviced by excellent staff. Some of Funchal’s best value restaurants are within 100 hundred yards walk. Undoubtedly overall the best location in Funchal. This.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. It is not a multistorey hotelbut instead is spread over a lovely complex including gardens, threeswimming pools and a spa/gym. It is quiet and every room has abalcony and a kitchenette. There are two local supermarkets and anicecream parlour and bakery/patisserie nearby.

The best value for money you can probably get in the old center of Funchal. So central you’re waked by the sounds of the city waking up. We had a very large and clean room, entered by a door in the alley left to the main entrance.

Centrally located hotel in Funchal, close to the cathedral. Rooms are small and basic, but clean and okay with a small balcony, television and ensuite bathroom. Not the cheapest option or best value for money in Funchal, but not bad either.

The hotel (my room) had an outstanding sea-side view and a large terrace. Staff was very friendly. Although breakfast could have been more varied, it included fresh fruit and was sufficient for a business trip.
