We didn't want to spend a lot of money and aside from the Pousada, Branganza is not overloaded with hotels, so the Tulipa appears as good as it gets. Mostly acceptable comforts except that the heating unit really wasn't quite up to the cold weather outside and we were cold. Still very convenient for the sites and the staff was helpful enough.

What a welcome ! We arrived hot and tired after several hours on amotorbike, and the receptionist (owner we think) immediately offered tocheck us in whilst we had a cold drink. The rooms was lovely, clean andwell appointed with great a/C. The bar was nice. The location was greatfor the castle (which is beautiful at sunset). Breakfast was what youexpect in central Spain, plenty of it, nicely presented. All in all agood value stopover with a lovely welcome.
