Perfect location in the inner city of Braga. Although the hotel is centrallylocated, our room was quiet as it is a pedestrian area. Staff was veryfriendly and helpful. Internet available free of charge.

Decent hotel we booked romatic double as it was the only room left but asked in the comments for 2 singles which was no problem Good Value for money comfy bed, free basic breakfast carpet in room was stained but otherwise the room was very clean!.

The two star rating is of no importance at the Grand Hotel – Bom Jesus, which is a beautiful property in Braga – Portugal. Braga is one of the oldest Portuguese cities as well as one of the oldest Christian cities of the world. The Grande Hotel is located in Bom Jesus do Monte, just 15 minutes from the centre of Braga, and has an excellent view over the whole city. You can easily visit the Natural Park of Bom Jesus, a few steps from our hotel, or the Citânia de Briteiros. In the historic center of Braga you can find the Cathedral and its museum, the Palace of the Bishop, the Garden of Santa Barbara, Biscaínhos museum and the theater building Theatro Circo. The University of Minho and the future New Nanotechnology Center are about 5 minutes from the hotel.

Although it is nestled in the hills above Braga, it is right next to one of the most famous Portuguese sanctuaries, surrounded by a beautiful park. Braga, a really nice city, is right at your feet. As for the hotel itself, I was made very welcome. Everything was impeccable.

At first we were not that happy as the hotel was hard to find; our gpscompletely gave up on us! However everything was changed as soon as westepped into the reception hall of the Grand Hotel; the hotel staff wasmost helpful, informative, cheerful and well-presented (unfortunately Ido not remember the name of all). We were given two rooms on the 3rdfloor; the view from the balcony was more than we expected (mountains,Braga town and the national park). Rooms are extra large & super comfywith all fittings & fixtures being modern and well-designed. Theambience of the whole hotel is adorable and m.

The location of this hotel could not be better, not could the service. The manager was extremely hospitable and knowledgeable, providing great recommendations, quick help and some laughs as well. He alone is worth going back to this hotel.

I chose this hotel to stay during a conference. I actually got more than that. Staff was very friendly and location allowed nice walks through the center of Braga. However, if you have a car (I did not), well, parking will be a problem.

The attendants at the front desk were friendly and solicitous in ensuring we had a good stay in Braga--providing driving directions, sightseeing tips, and restaurant recommendations (including a recommendation for Pudim Abade Priscos--a Braga speciality and my favorite dessert in Portugal). The rooms were comfortable, quiet, and clean, the breakfast was very satisfactory, and the hotel was centrally located for exploring Braga. I would be happy to recommend Albergaria de Se to others.

Next to Braga Station, Rooms Big , Clean, Television with Sport TV, Centralized AC, Continental Breakfast, 10 min to centre of the city, Supermarket Minipreço is 100 m in the street next to Railway station, Nice Coffee shop near the hotel.

The Hotel was well located just outside the old part of Bragga. We wereonly looking for accomodation for the night and the hotel fully met thatrequirement. We had a car and initially we thought that 5 Euros per dayfor parking was expensive however we found that parking in the area canbe almost 1 Euro and hour.
