We can not fault the hotel staff, who went out of their way to ensure our stay was great (paying parking fines, organising private cars). The hotel is in an ideal location, overlooking the main canal in Aveiro with the main square (restaurants/bars) two blocks behind. Overall, the standard at the hotel is excellent.

My newly wed husband and I stayed only one night in this hotel as part of our 3 week road trip honeymoon in Portugal, and we wished we’d stayed longer! We can honestly say this is the best of all the hotels we stayed at: the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, and they put us in their magical ’Morrocan’ theme room (which was a lovely surprise!). The hotel itself is simply beautiful and has the best location in town - being right next to the river overlooking all the boats, very romantic! The hotel restaurant/bar are also strongly recommended.

Great localization in the city center and right near the river where you can go on a boat ride. Behind the hotel there is the "Praça do Peixe" where you can have a drink at night. The hotel is very clean, well decorated and the staff is very friendly and supportive. sta.
