The Tournet is an excellent small hotel situated on the northern edge of the Jewish quarter near the main Plac Nowy and many restaurants and bars. The room was quiet (it faced the courtyard), clean, the double bed big and comfortable and the en-suite was clean and sizeable with a powerful shower. The hotel staff were friendly, english speaking and helpful. The breakfast was a self serve with scrambled eggs, cereals, bread, cheese, ham, coffee etc - was fine. Getting there was easy on the 19 tram from the train station (get off at Stradom). No hesitation in recommending this hotel - especially at this price range.

The hotel was really near to the old town, so there was hardly anywalking involved to get anywhere, which was good. It was also next toseveral bus and tram lines which made life easier. The staff were veryfriendly and helpful, and went out of their way to move us when a largegroup of drunk people were being too noisy in the rooms next to us.There was also a vegan restaurant right next to the hotel, which issomething of a rarity in Poland. The rooms were lovely and had enoughfacilities to suffice for the duration of the stay, including bath, kettle, mugs and cutlery. Breakfast was fine.

I really liked the hotel, it was small but had what we needed! The roomwas very clean and quiet since we lived in the building in the yard. The backyard was the most wonderful, a little secret garden! The staffwas very nice and helpful, helped us and called a cab when we neededand copied the list of music played in the restaurant to me when Ithought it was good! :) We forgot a bag in the reception the day of ourleave and they promised to send it to us! A pleasant stay and I havealready recommended the hotel to my relatives that are going to Krakowin the spring!
