Established in 1830 by Kasper Pollera; it ranks as one of the Krakows oldest hotels and successfully combines a unique Art Nouveau ambiance with furnishings of a European standard.

The location of the hotel is excellent; close to the railway station (bus station next door ) and to the centre of town, yet not on a main road as a number of other hotels are. I had a twin room, and although the old style of the hotel is not somethng I would choose at home the bed was comfortable, there was a good sized wardrobe & plenty of drawer space, the linen was changed several times during the week, the bathroom was modern and a decent size and everything was spotlessly clean. I also had a table, sofa and 2 chairs which made it more east to relax and usee my laptop as I was there for a week. The wifi worked consistently with no problems connecting.

The Hotel Pollera was in an ideal position, a couple of minutes from the main square and with walking (or strolling) distance from all of the Old Town, Jewish Quarter and Castle. We didn't set foot on any public transport. The breakfast was excellent. We ate in the restaurant a couple of nights which was very good. The value for money was amazing and the staff very helpful. All in all, you can gather we had a a wonderful holiday.

The Pollera is a fine Krakow city center hotel that puts you right in the action of the old town just steps from the main square. It has charm and a great staff. They even made me a to go breakfast the day I left (very early) with sandwiches, fruit and juice. With a nice breakfast included, this hotel is perfect for both business travellers and couples as the rooms are clean and comfortable.
