The hotel was excellently located, a few minutes walk from Main Squareand centrally located for shops and restaurants. Hotel was very homelyand comfortable. Hotel staff could not do enough for us, extremly accommodating, friendly and very vey helpful even arranging collection and drop off at airport ensuring us with a stress free break. One of the friends that we travelled with had recently been to Krakow on business and stayed in another hotel which was more expensive and she said that the Grodek was 100 times better .... Unfortunately, we did not get the opportunity to try the restaurant, which we understand is very good, but will definately re-visit and "eat-in".

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Gródek. The rooms were verycomfortable, well equipped, and the service from the front desk staffwas always exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good andplentiful in the morning, and dinner on two nights was excellent, withthe hotel restaurant offering an imaginative menu. The location is nearperfect, only a few minutes walk away from the main market square inKrakow and all the sights, while tucked away in a small side street andaway from the hustle and bustle of the large crowds of tourists thatthrong the old town every day.

Hotel Grodek was charming and had a great deal of character. It wasbeautifully located with a very helpful staff. The restaurant wasexceptional with an artistically designed space that included wallniches holding artifacts unearthed when building this hotel. Thedescription "boutique hotel" fits this place perfectly. I loved my room, the delicious breakfast buffet, the evening meal in the restaurant, thestaff, and the sitting room/library/study. It has the amenities of alarge hotel but the charm of a small one. I'd stay there again in aheartbeat.
