The Hotel Copernicus Krakow dates back to the 1300's and embodies the eclectic nature of the city. His namesake Krakow hotel sits in the shadows of the Gothic churches with whom he would come into conflict over his theory. The Krakow-Balice International airport is approximately 5 miles from the Hotel Copernicus Krakow. The rooms at the Hotel Copernicus Krakow are appointed with modern conveniences such as Internet access, cable television service, direct-dial telephones and air-conditioning. Excellent staff and facilities, and it's a decided plus to have aterrific restaurant on-premises. For those visiting Old Krakow, thelocation cannot be topped. The ambiance and architecture of the hotelis also exceptional. This is my second visit and was my first choiceupon returning to the city. I would highly recommend it. And again, special commendations to the staff, all of whom could not have beenmore helpful and accomodating. My reasons for choosing the hotelinclude its location, facilities, quality of service (all of which Iknew about fromm my first visit) and, while comparatively expensive forKrakow, the price is very reasonable when compared with hotel prices inmany other markets.

The hotel was perfectly located at the foot of the castle and the edgeof the old town. The hotel had retained the historic features of thearchitecture but had incorporated contemporary design. We loved that itwas small but intimate and it met modern needs with a roof top terrace, spa facilities, free internet access and wi-fi. The food was exceptionalwith service to match. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel staff really put themselves out to make our stay comfortable. The room was very nice and even when we arrived early they offered us complimentry breakfast, which was very thoughtful since we had been up very early in the morning. They organised for me to have a massage and reception managed to answer any questions we had.
