I found Dizzy Daisy to be a wonderful hostel. The location, rooms and amenities are excellent. However, it was the staff that impressed me more than anything. I fell quite ill on the day I checked out, and the kindness and care shown to me by the guy staffing the reception at the time were above and beyond. I regret that I didn't get his name, as I am most appreciative! Another staff member (I believe it was his day off), Sebastian (I think), kept me company and helped take my mind off feeling so crappy! He also recommended a movie called "Goodbye Lenin!" that I have since watched and enjoyed immensely. So, a huge "thank you" to all of you at Dizzy Daisy! Your kindness was a great comfort to me, and I'll not forget it. You provided an upside to being sick!

Brilliant, very helpful staff. Very good location less than 10mins walkto the centre of the town. Tidy, secure and comfortable room, greatadditional things like free towels, tea & coffee. I had seen (online) some quite negative comments from previous visitors, before arriving myself. Those comments do not in any way match my very pleasant experience - did those negative reviewers actually stay at the same place?? Or maybe the comments were made by people with unfeasibly high expectations of hostel accommodation. I've stayed in lots of hostels (mainly in Britain) but this is one of the very best I've visited, and would be more than happy to stay there again.

The staffs were so nice and helpful and the security policy of this hostel was awesome. Good location takes only 10 min walk from central train and coach station but still quiet at night. It's also closed to a big shopping center where you can buy everything! According it's a pretty old building, the shower and toilet looks not so tidy but still ok. I'll recommend it to my friends. Thanks!
